If you find a stack of the coupons, the 30% off ones are always grouped together.

I just got back from BB and looked through three separate stacks of say 100 coupons booklets. In each stack there was a section of 5-10 coupons...all grouped together.

They're not hard to find. My BB had the boxes with all of the coupons set up around the laptops.

Will these coupons work for a DS Lite?

From the pics, it looks like it says: save 30% on computer accessories, notebook accessories, office furniture, and paper.

Useless. :(

Well, I went today. Found the coupons.

Hit a brick wall.

1) It is 30% off regular price, not sale price, so that 500GB mybook would be more expensive than it was last week.

2) Hard drives are not "computer accessories." Manager said if the computer doesn't take it off it won't be taken off.

3) Was told I could get last week's sale price on the mybook. But when they used the phone to get in touch with customer service, they were told it was the 600GB mybook on sale last week, not the 500GB. I argued there was no such thing as a 600GB mybook, nor a commercially available 600GB drive. They just shrugged.

Does anyone have a good scan of that mybook flyer from last week? I can print it and show it to them. At least get it for $199.

Thanks.

Buddy of mine picked up the 500GB MyBook last week with the 30% coupon... $149 out the door... no hassles.
I missed the deal so on Tuesday I used mine to get a 15 pack of Fuji DVD-DLs that were on sale already for only $18. Cashier did an override... was only later when I read the details that I realized I was supposed to spend $100 to get the coupon to work. HA.
Now I'm trying to talk myself into buying 2 x BFG 7900GTs, which, with their current 15% off deal and the 30% coupons should be ridiculously cheap... now to find them in stock somewhere close...

Search around in other departments. Almost all of the sales stations have boxes and I found an entire box of 30% coupons over near the refrigerators. Score.

I just got back from best buy and purchased a Westinghouse 19" Widescreen LCD that was on sale for $159, then got my 30% off of THAT price because the supervisor at the register thought of it as a "computer accessory." The total I paid (before tax) was $111!!!!! The guy by the LCD's said it wouldn't count... but it sure did. So it's up in the air if you get lucky enough. By the way, you have to spend at least $100 to use the coupon... I bought a Targus laptop backpack that was 89.99 and they wouldn't let me do it until I got over $100.

Edit: this was the product: Westinghouse LCD

I got mine at Fullerton. They had a bunch for anyone to grab. I just looked through all and found 2 with 30%. I've used one and saved one for future. :D

I looked through a box of about 50-100, and there was none, so I checked the other box and saw 8 or 9 30% coupons in a row, they were 2/3rds the way through the box and all together. I grabbed a couple also, and stuck the rest up in front for people to use =)

I tried using a coupon on a BFG 7900GT. Would have brought the card down to ~$220-$230 before tax. The salesperson (red head girl) had to find a manager to see what she could do, and the manager told her that he would only do 10% on the video card since it wasn't an accessory. I said no thanks and left... Maybe in the next month there will be something worth using the coupon on.

Yezzir they are still at local BBs...my local manager told me that they will stop around mid august (distribution that is.) I got 56 because it seemed like a challenge to me. Make sure you pump yourself up before you go to get that adrenaline going. ;)

if you're not going to use all of them (spending over $5600 in accessories), you shouldn't get them all. You snatching all the big coupons will only help out BestBuy, since the rest of the people getting coupons will only get small % coupons, and only save 15% or so on their purchases.

Thanks for jumping the gun Lukeman. FYI I'm distributing them to all my co-workers so we can all purachse refrigerators for our cubicles. Rest assured I'm not trying to increase Best Buy's revenues.

On Thursday my friend and I went and tried to use the coupons.

I tried to buy the 22" widescreen Westinghouse monitor. I knew it was unlikely they would take it but I figured it was worth a shot. It didn't work and I was 100% understanding of this, I was taking a shot, anyway.

THEN, my friend tried to buy a friggin' USB wireless network adapter and they told him it wasn't a "computer accessory". I argued and spoke to a manager and started getting loud when my friend asked me to stop. A USB network adapter is not a computer accessory? WTF do you use a network adapter for then? A toaster?

So now I'm on a mission to find the most expensive item they will let me use it on and buy it just to hurt 'em. I'm sure I could eBay whatever it is for profit. Effing Best Buy.

w00t! Bring down bestbuy by buying stuff from them for really cheap!!! You are the quintessential iconoclast that surmises all of us will follow in your footsteps to subvert BB's funds by purchasing from them. Sounds like an astute stratagem to me :D

BestBuy ppl aren't the smartest you know...I got with talk with a dude who "specializes" in video cards and argued that a 6800 Ultra 512 mb is better than a 7800GT. I was like wtf
