back from vancouver

Was just visiting there last weekend, stayed at the Wedgewood. We had AWESOME Indian food at VJ's, its worth a look up, but be prepared to wait. They still probably have A LOT of snow.

Enjoy the snow 😛

I love Vancouver, its been 10 years since I left. If you go during spring, there are a ton of parks to check out and the beaches. In this weather, go somewhere nearby to skii.....

(last I heard, Vancouver was under 60cm of snow).

Last Sunday our Amtrak train was canceled because of the snow, we were lucky to find a charter bus to get us out of there. There was atleast a foot of snow when we left Sunday night.

Never been to Vancouver when it had lots of snow. I remember going up to Cypress one night to go snowboarding. I love Vancouver. I'm not sure if it runs year round but the Tram that goes up to Grouse Mountain would provide great views of the city, especially with the snow.

The snow is mostly gone in the city, but still are visible in the outlying area. There isn't much to do in Van during winter other than the bars, foods, and last but not least skiing @ grouse & whistler.

provided that you have a 4x4 vehicle, vancouver is awesome this time of the year. try snowboarding on cypress, the best local mountain by far.

if you're relying on public transit/sky train then good luck.

go to Blenz Coffee at the corner of Burrard & Robson.

hang out.

go to Stanley Park, feed the ducks. get arrested.

walk around Stanley Park, nice pics.

increase life insurance, ride Gondola at Mt. Whistler.

So were are you going to be tomorrow afternoon?

[stalking AkumaX to add him as his next ATOT Butt Peeing victim]

Cheers,

my prev thread

Vancouver was our 2nd fav destination, behind maui. We've been to about 10-15 destinations around the world which isn't much but it being #2 on our list ahead of the caribbeans and asia... it's pretty sweet there.

Cool. In Vancouver, B.C. now. Had sushi just now. Will eat dim sum tomorrow. Yum!

Are you in Vancouver or Richmond?

I've always wondered what tourists do here. Seems like kind of a boring place for a vacation, but I guess that's because I live here.
