the sound sucked major @ss in the theather we were in...I think they forgot to turn the sub woofers on...:|

how old is luke in the new hope (between 18-20???) it took that long to actually build the death star??

how did leaiah (sp...it's late) get the princess in her name if she was the senator's adopted kid and they were trying to keep her identify a secret???

other than the cheesy diagolue, it was a two thumbs up movie!!!

The Death Star is huge, and it was the first one built. Thats the only thing I can think of. Although it didn't take them long to build the 2nd Death Star, even though it wasn't really finish in Jedi.

Yeah the whole time scale is a little bit off I think but..eh its a movie. Like at the end..the mother is like 20. In episode four she looks like a grandmother and yet only like 18 years should have passed....also all the ships look totally diffrent in the span of 18 years? eh thats being anal tho :)

Also it seems...with the loss of the jedi is also the loss of the use of a lightsaber...all the fights in the first 3 are freakin crazy while the 4th,5th,and 6th are very slow fights. Obvioulsy its beucase of the advances of technology in movie making but if u look at it from the films view...they just forgot how to do all their tricks.

Well in IV, V, and VI Obi-Wan has been in exile, Vader is half the man he once was, and Luke has a 3 week Jedi Training crash course.

Yeah obi-wan must have been bored out of his mind. Talking all day long with a dead guy? yeha that could get boring.

I thought it was really good...

I liked how the battles b/n Anakin and Obi-Wan and Yoda and Emperor were paralleled. Also then the parallel b/n Luke and Lea's births, and Vader's construction.

The view from Vader's eyes as the mask was put over him was really cool too. Thumbs up to whoever did that.

TWICE in the first hour of the movie, the f(*&@#$n projector screwed up or something, cause 1st all of a sudden we could only see the top half of the screen, and 2nd it all cut out. Also the sound cut out during these moments. Some people (including my friend) immediatley ran out to yell at managers or whoever they could find, and each time it came back within a couple minutes. But when it came back it completely skipped ahead, so we missed a small part of the movie. Luckily not toward the end though... still complained a lot though, I think we're getting our money back and movie passes

I liked it but I think it needed more general grevious chopping up people.

The only time he was able to fight he didnt even get to kill anyone.

General Grevious in the Clone Wars cartoons was fvcking bad ass.

Grievous could do that spinning light saber thing all day long and we'd still be watching the movie. He's invincible if he doens't stop it! Too bad for him, he stopped, and then he got beaten...

Saw a friend afterward who saw it on a screen in the opposite end of the theatre, and she said the same thing happened there. We concluded that Lucas, no longer content to merely control sight and sound, now leaves directions for the theatres' climate control, so that the room got really hot during the scenes on the lava planet. Paranoid and silly? Of course.

Let's just hope he never develops Wookie Smellovision.:)

This is curious... my friend who went and saw this movie complained that he was sweating by the end of the flick because of the a/c being off.

Gotta wonder if this is Luca's way of making it more immersive? If so, this sucks. I wanna go see this movie but I wanna be comfortable watching it.

I think Jar Jar says 'Excuse Me' as they walk past Anakin, as he is going back to Padme...

I thought the film was definately better than the last two, but the acting was stiff and dialog was weak in some areas. Mostly I felt like Hayden couldn't deliver the intensity some of the scenes really needed. Still give it a thumbs up though!

Hmmm. I like the way you think. :Q

Not silly at all. The theater manager, who kept coming in to talk to everybody for the costume contest and saber crystal finding contest before the film started, snuck in the back and was adjusting the temperature controls that were hidden behind a wall panel at the back of the theater, during the whole lava-planet thing. I saw him raise the temperature. I didn't really think anything about it because I was kinda cold anyway.

This... actually makes a little sense now. :Q

Yes he does, dammit. He's got two lines in the script and one of them was cut out. You can see Jar Jar in two scenes: one at the beginning and one at the end. You can hear Jar Jar say "oh, excuse me" amidst the bustle of Coruscant air traffic as the scene pulls back away from the landing platform just after Skywalker/Kenobi deliver Palpatine to the Senate after his rescue.

I like how you can see the beginnings of the original 3 movies as far as the starships and such. The Star Destroyer ships look almost the same except for the wedge part cut out on the sides, the Emporer's ship with the fold up wings is ther eexcept for the dorsal fin wing on top, what looks like the predecessor to the X-Wing and B-Wings are there... And then of course at the end the BLockade Runner is in there... Really neat.

I forgot which character Lucas played though so forgot to watch for him. Anyone know which scene it was?
