Notice how provocative the title is? But then look at the article itself:
http://www.boston.com/Boston/politi...ge-from-god/ACJ4zJCjJoqxfDK6RT4ETN/index.html
Notice the very first line:
Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann said yesterday that Hurricane Irene was a political message from God, the St. Petersburg Times reported. Today, however, a spokeswoman for the Minnesota representative said the remark was in jest.
So what is it that we have here.
Why didn't the title read, Bachmann jokes about Irene being a message from God and some laugh and some lose their minds? Is the intention just to insight outrage just to sell papers and gather eyes for ad revenue? I think it is.
And it's pretty sad.
