I had a FX-8150,then went Intel for 2 upgrades(Core i5-4670,and later my just-replaced i7-7700) now I'm back with AMD.
(Ryzen 3700X.)

My last desktop was an Opteron 165. Reused the case in fact.

Now it's a 3700X paired with 5700XT

Also, your monitor has an even tighter1800R curvature. Mine is 1900R. That is good for big monitors. It would be pretty wicked with three of them side by side. Car racing would be outstanding. But I wouldn't do that for something I'd do once in a blue moon.

It was C$500, I didn't look too hard.

I need to do a clean install but I so don't feel like it, but really there's not that much stuff to configure so I should just bite the bullet and do it.

Copy and paste is super buggy on this system for some reason and it's driving me nuts. Half the time it does not take so what I previously copied does not paste. Sometimes even after several tries it still never goes through. I will be continuing on some old coding projects soon so I really need that to work properly.
