Tabarnak it's cold out there. Hands are freezing. Was too hard to control it with gloves on. I brought it up, did a circle around and then brought it back down.

Also took pics real quick of my outside decorations while I was out there

You know radio waves can penetrate windows right?

I like having direct line of sight just in case something goes wrong would not see it from inside the house. Especially in a case like this where it's my first time running it in those conditions. Like if it falls I have a chance of running up to go catch it.

ARg kdenlive sucks. I wish there was a better editor in Linux. The GUI is finicky as hell, and it can't do basic things like PNG transparancy. Well the issue is everything is a work around. There is a way to make it work but it's some oddball workaround and I can't remember what it is.

I hate having to rely on windows but if I want to make any videos I think I just need to bite the bullet and setup a windows based editor in a VM.

You would think Linux would have more stuff as far as multimedia goes but it tends to not have much.

Royally fucked up my ankles and knees playing volleyball

I did it playing basketball. I was not very good, but loved to play. I can't tell you how many times I rolled my ankle or dislocated my knee. It's a wonder I can walk today. I'm so happy I'm getting around.

I used to play on concrete slab court. So if you stepped on the edge while moving sideways, yountwist your ankle. It was a weekly occurrence. My ankles are so fucked I cannot put on skates properly.

I used to be good at volleyball in school, it was the only sport I did not get picked last at in gym class. Well that and dodge ball. I was usually the last to be hit and they had to throw extra balls in to speed up the process so we can start the next game.

Attempted to play volley ball again at the beach this summer and screwed up my wrist/arm badly. HUGE bruise and popped blood vessels lol. I guess my arms can't handle those big hits anymore. Probably because the ball was hitting the arms more than the hands.

Hell, I dislocated my right knee in football tryouts. My coach made me wrestle in gym class 6 weeks after the injury. Asshole. Guy tells me after the hospital put my kneecap back in place that he basically didn't put it back cuz he didn't want to be sued. How much recovery time he could have saved me if he just popped it back in place. Me and my stretchy ligaments.

Activity is the best medicine you can get. Keep moving as long as you can.

In HS football I played center, punter and inside linebacker. One play on offense I snapped the ball and put my hands right up to the nose tackle. Both of my hands went into their facemask and we went to the ground. I broke or badly sprained 6 of my 8 fingers. My coach taped my hands up and two plays later I had to punt the ball, catching the snap with my tape mittens in the rain.

Never really got hurt playing basketball until I was an adult.

Broke a clavicle playing rugby. Hairline fractured the ball part of the tibia in a volleyball game. The landing was so loud the next court stopped playing.

My entire weight landed on the top side of my foot and snapped the whole foot back.

Officially wrapped up (literally) for the season. I still need to do siding, shingles, and some stuff inside like electrical, shelves etc but I'll do that in spring. For inside I may end up finishing the walls as it will be easier to do it right away if I'm going to put shelves. But I'll play it by ear. I also want to add a secondary plywood layer for the floor and then weather proof it for when I walk in wet shoes or if something leaks etc.

My beard got thicker too. :p

I fell while running before. Tripped on a crack in the sidewalk. Was able to roll with the fall, but still landed on my ribs. Although I landed in the grass, I was sore for a few days.

One time I landed on my knee and started bleeding. I did what any athlete would do. I got back up and kept on running. Acted like it never happened. I miss running. I do a ton of walking, stooping, pulling, reaching, etc.

You are very cool. I'm not big on facial hair, but if I lived where you do I may be sporting a beard. I just like being clean shaven. I'm hot in nature and hair keeps it in.
