Press 1 if you would prefer to pay a small fee and jump the queue.

That's funny if it wasn't so sad that they have the option to do just that. I think it would backfire. I would immediately transfer my service to another carrier and would tell them why I was leaving.

Only if you have alternativea

Well, I've long thought that what was needed was separating the selling of cell phones from the providers. It may cost me more upfront, but no more overpaying for service or not getting what you paid for. Verizon complained that I didn't have a Verizon phone. LOL. Later...

That would probably make a killing, an option to pay a few dollars to get higher priority service. lol. I could totally see ISPs do that. The way it would work is that you pay what you want, and the more you pay the higher up on the queue you end up.

True evil is you are waiting even if there is no one else waiting.

And the music keeps cutting off like someone is about to pick up, but instead it's an automated message "Did you know, you can have an associate answer the call right away, press 1 to enter your credit card information and for only $5.99 + service charge we will connect you to our VIP queue! Thank you for holding, your call is important to us."

Had some good chinese food at work party. From a place I always forget about so first time having it. I always laugh since it's right next to a veterinary office. :p TBH I prefer working night shifts on the night of the party, not a big party person so it's an excuse to not have to spend the night.

Lol nobody seems to know anything about this trouble. I'm technically not even suppose to be monitoring it but seeing alarms for it, may as well take charge of it.

Yeah the shifts can be long, how long are your shifts? Mine are 12h. So basically when I'm on shift I have no life But honestly even an 8 hour shift, I'm beat after and not like I really want to do anything since I have to go to bed early, so I prefer working 12's then get more days off. I do work some 8's though as you need at least 2 to complete schedule hours. Typically work 4 12's and get 3-4 days off then some 8's in between

4 on 4 off, 3 on 3 off. All 12h shifts. Anything over 10hr per day and 40hr per week is OT. Same schedule for new job except nights.

I'll be traveling for a month for the new job for training and then coming back home. I can't wait to be somewhere warm while it'll be cold as hell in Oregon.
