Cool. I checked your profile and deleted the question. I see you caught it quickly. Looks like somewhere I'd like to visit someday. My mother lives in the Adirondacks. It's 5F at the moment. I'm sure that Red Squirrel or sdifox will arrive shortly to educate me on what "cold" really is. In metric of course! 😀

I was born on the first day of spring in north Dakota, in the middle of a blizzard. Back when there was no such thing as wind chill. Negative temps plus that never stopping wind... that's cold.

I grew up in the midwest. LIved in Nebraska, Minnesota, NE Indiana. Both parents are from Wisconsin. I know cold.

I say be proud of where you're from. When I was younger I met a young lady down here from a small town in Nebraska. She would bad mouth where she was from. It turned me off big time. I never told her. Just stopped calling her.

Oh I'm not bad mouthing it at all. There's oil fields, wind, cold, hot, winter, summer...
