Yay, germination.



Growing a spruce tree for fun, I was failing since the start of winter, I decided to stick a CFL bulb in a cardboard box with the pot in it, and it did the trick. Probably needed more heat and more direct light.

I want to build a grow box at some point though, I might grow some actual food. The tree is mostly just for fun, I used a seed from the one in my yard. That's my goal too if I grow my own stuff, I want to actually produce my own seeds too.

I also just realized this post has probably been flagged by the NSA and DEA.

All this talk about snow, and yet hardly none here, makes me want to go shovel...err snow blow . I need to widen my driveway as it's quite narrow.



Going to break some of that down with snow scoop and blow it further in the yard. Should have done that a long time ago but got lazy and it was too cold. I need better gloves.
