Just go for a job you like. You can decide while interviewing..whether to join or not.

I've already applied to a number of simple clerk positions at different grocery stores, like Safeway. I applied in person but was told in almost every case to apply online, which I've done. Haven't heard back yet, but it's been only 3 or 4 days. Would like to apply to something else but can't think of any place other type of place that would be ok with me leaving in 5 months time frame. Also don't want to have an hour commute like my last job, that was driving me nuts amongst other things.

Seems like a personal decision.

I've prepared about $15k to furnish 3 rooms in my apartment once I graduate. That's not outrageous as some people like my mother spent about that much furnishing one room in their house.

15k for 3 rooms doesn't sound too bad. But it does sound expensive for someone starting out.

Say Alfa thanks for the network post link. It's good reading. Always been fuzzy on much of this stuff.

I suppose to know if my crimping job was any good I should do some speed tests to see if I can get close to 100mbps.??

Meh. I would hate to live in a half furnished apartment I also hate shitty furniture. I'm not moving back in with my parents... Soooo I saved up.

When I did the wiring between the 2 rooms where the 2 computers are I just ran a long patch cable in the attic and installed keystones on both sides of this. I see now this should have been solid core cable.

I'm not even sure what the spec of the cable is I used. I just grabbed some extra long Ethernet cable I had lying around. It's probably 5e but I don't know 100%.

I am so anxious, because of an extremely close call. My life could have been in shambles had that gone the other way.
