Everyone has the right of way in India. Good thing you're safe.

Thanks. That fucker was taking a U turn, completely ignoring oncoming traffic. My GF and my brother were with me in the car.

It happened so quickly. Thankfully, my car responded better than I anticipated.

If he's asking for $200 tell him you'll pay $100 if he ever wants to sell. Then leave it at that.

No way is some douche going to sell his crap with that attitude. He'll send you a PM a weeks down the road.

Yeah, I think I'll just skip him. I'm afraid that if he actually does sell it to me, he won't ship it for weeks and if there are problems, he won't be around.

Yeah good thing your safe. When I was in Asia we were in a number of places that could easily have been close calls. People pass on curves into oncoming traffic all the time for example. WTF YOU CAN'T FUCKING SEE WHATS COMING! Still their handling skills are very good on average.

So what do you guys think of the online application process for something as dumb as a clerk/stocking position? I went in store and talked to people at a bunch of different grocery stores and they all just said apply online. I looked online and there ARE positions showing as available, for example at Safeway they had several in the area that I applied for. But I just don't like applying online for something like this. Why not just walk in and talk with the manager and hand them your resume? Anyway it's been 3 or 4 days since I applied. How long would you expect to wait? I feel like a retard, these are just clerk positions :(

These everything is being done on the Internet. I wouldn't think much about it, if they ask you to apply online.. Just do it.

I prefer the old-fashioned way, but that's the times now.

Don't think about it too much. Just do your best and fill it out. You're overthinking it too much.

Close call. Don't let it get to you though. It's in the past now. Just be more careful in the future. Dwelling on these kinds of things will only lead to sorrow for yourself.

I am a pretty safe driver. I drove in India for more than 5 years without a scratch or a dent.

That incident never made me anxious as long as I was in India. Only after coming back to the US I started to think about that. I don't know why I keep thinking about that. Maybe, because I am lonely here.
