Now all my vintage game systems will work on my 24 in monitor/TV (doesn't have RCA in).

What is an RF modulator, exactly? Lol. I'm picturing a device with one end that hooks up to the screw-thingey on an old TV (lol don't know the exact name), and the other end would be... ?

Yes that's right. It's a box like this:

It converts an RCA input into an RF output so you can see the RCA input on TVs that only have the coaxial RF type antenna inputs.

The computer monitor I have has a built in TV tuner, VGA in, HDMI in, Component in, but no RCA in. So the cheapest way to get all my RCA inputs from my vintage consoles to work on this is to convert them to coax RF (the screw on cable connector).

Quality this way is only as good as the old school RF coax but for $4.99 it ain't a bad fix. I was looking before at getting a box to convert from RCA to component or VGA which would be better quality but would have cost about 30 to 40 dollars at least.

If I end up working, I'll be losing 2-5 hours of study time, which isn't good. So it means I can't just scrap tonight.

I thought u meant a one I/O type

If you go to thrift stores often you can snag some good deals. So long as you don't mind getting ripped off now and then.

I got a fully working PS2 slim with all the cables and a game for $9.99 once.

Nice.

I got an Ethernet cable for 0.67 cents.

One of the connectors had the spring-clip snapped off.
