You could get a bigger 720p display. It's not like they or probably you can tell the difference at 8 feet
Eww. 720p is so 2006.

Well.. at-least you'll save a lot of money.
The only consideration I would have for 720p is if the HD cable signal is actually in 720, and if 1080 would stretch it poorly.
wtf.
Nope! Not going to get obsolete technology.
Besides, I have some 1080p movies.![]()
I have no way to test whether I can see the difference or not.
And what happens if you put a 1080p signal onto a 720p television?
Shut your beloved patriot.
Most people can't tell the difference. At 8 feet. I can guarantee it. We had a vendor who had nearly identical displays but one was 720 the other 1080.
Using a Denon DBP-2012UDCIP
Playing Transporter 3, Toy Story 3, and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
No one from my office could repeatedly pick the correct set.
As tech folks we need to STOP only looking at specifications. That's not the only factor.
wtf.
Well, sure, looking at the television is the best judgment... and there's no good way to do that. You can't judge a television for your house by looking at a wall with fifty of them in a building with ten thousand watts of overhead lighting.
About what I suspected from skimming a few of your threads.
Pretty sure he's on thin ice with the mods. Pull up some samples of him harassing you in large numbers of your threads/posts, and put it up in mod discussions.
Again! Why is this such a ridiculous statement? Is HD cable not in 720p? Does it stretch out just fine?![]()
