The Cerebral Cortex Bond Interface uses a power cell. Since its predominately a passive device (psuedo CMOS) its draw is so low that the typical grocery store alkaline manganese dioxide cell winds up leaking before it expires. The contacts in the battery holder along with this electrolyte form a source of rogue power with sufficient extraneous electromotive force to induce uncontrolled, involuntary twitches. These are the twitches you see in the test subjects despite being subdued in the cranium with a .40 caliber slug.

Hmmm hearing the sound of water running within a wall when it's never been heard before can't be good. :whiste:

I had a 4L. Awesome shit.

It just keeps running. Yeah, it is slow and only 300 dpi, but I print so infrequently that it is fine for me and if I really needed to print something big, my wife has an HP 2015D that I can use.

I brought it back into service a couple of years ago, when my big Lexmark Optra S croaked (got a great deal on it in 2000 or 2001). I took the whole thing apart, cleaned it out, and have it connected via a parallel to USB adapter.

I wish I could find a color printer that was as reliable. I think I made a mistake getting rid of my old Stylus Color 600.

Yeah, text definitely does. I have an infrequent need for color printing and in most cases, I can just upload them and have Wal Mart or another online merchant print them. But sometimes I have a quick color print need and it would be nice if this thing would just work without me having to sacrifice small animals to get the damn nozzles unclogged.
