And it has an under armour logo, which bothers me, and most likely, the neck will be tight.

By length, I take a large. By bulk, I take a medium. By desired collar fitment, I take an XL.

You do realize you can buy stuff that is a medium - extra long? That fits you. Not medium, L, or XL!

I'm actually looking for something to wear to school through the winter. Sample combination: under armour hoodie - comfortable, some warmth, has hood and front pocket, repels rain/snow. Weakness? Not enough warmth, vulnerable to sharp wind. But add a long-sleeve thermal shirt under that, and it will be comfortably warm, and resist wind better.

The goal is to be able to get from my car to the school, and back again, plus a few minutes waiting for car to warm up, without a jacket, because carrying a jacket all day around campus is a bitch.

I'm not that hipster or metro. C'mon.

You guys just need to see me in person. It's not hipster or borderline gay

Every pair of shoes you have linked, with the exception of the Kanye West style pair, have been standard hipster wear. And the Kanye shoes better befit a small child who can't deal with laces.

It looks like jeans and... a button neck sweater over a polo with the polo collar above?

That is so not casual.

Also, I need a jacket.

My jackets: a black denim, unlined. A black Carhartt oversized thermal-lined hooded zip sweatshirt. A black Carolina heavy duty outdoor winter jacket.

Only one of these three is even water-resistant (the Carolina is full proof tbh). The warmth of the thermal is good... until you get inside. The denim just blocks some wind, it's a light fall. The winter is way too much for most weather, and absolutely too much to take indoors.

Polo and jeans!

I'm pretty sure I see a polo collar peeping over the white overshirt. Is the overshirt a sweater or sweatshirt? Also, the shoes are still Chucks or similar. And are those jeans or something else?

Right. Polo then waffle weave long shirt thing. Fitted jeans. Polo shoes.
