Hair lady suggests Hair mousse to fix my hair problem. Just in time for thanksgiving dinner. Which I need to go pick up my dry cleaning for

I don't know what I'm wearing to Thanksgiving dinner.

Oh, wait, yes I do. Jeans and a hooded sweatshirt.

Because why the hell not?

I do need new sweatshirts soon, my preferred one is from RIT, the collar is torn open, the material is graying and worn out, the elbows are gleaming from use. The other school's sweatshirt is in better shape, but not great.

Does not sound like fun

One of my major external portals went down. Definitely a DB issue and I wanted the server guys to restore it. They could not. No good backup in 1 FUCKING MONTH.

Luckily I found another app had a table locked so I killed the app and the portal came up.

My best friend from middle school had an uncle who was a dean there

If we go to Christmas or Thanksgiving at my in-laws, the wife makes me wear khakis and a button-up. If we go to my family's house, I wear jeans and a T-shirt or polo. :D

I'm thinking mail-order an RIT, maybe the under armour type this time. From what I recall a buddy of mine saying out there, the under armour hoodie doesn't do shit against cutting wind, by extension, I assume perhaps not very warm. On the other hand, from what I saw of a friend a couple years ago, under armour sweatshirts repel rain. He took a walk outside in it, got caught in a freak rain shower. The girl he was walking with looked like she'd taken a shower in her clothes. His pants were soaked, his hair, but the sweatshirt was as dry as if it'd just come off a shelf.

My father will not greatly help my mother on this issue, and my mother alone can't force the issue. I don't have anything nice with long sleeves, and it's too chilly to wear short sleeves.

Thanksgiving like events at my parents = khakis or jeans + button-up
everywhere else = dess pants + fancy button-up

If my father was given his choice, he'd wear jeans and a sweatshirt too. He isn't given a choice, by my mother, so he usually wears jeans and a polo.

If it were warm enough, I'd always wear short sleeves, because, as thin as I am, long sleeves never look anything but baggy. It is not, so I wear hooded sweatshirts, because... they're comfortable?

I personally think it is dumb to have to dress up to spend time with family. Plus, I get hot very quickly and prefer polo shirts.
