She obviously wasn't smart enough to see that if the answer was to always call the network admins, why not have people call them directly and not hire her?

And a Fedex driver applied for DBA position. I looked at the education part to see if it is a dba bring home bacon working at Fedex. Nope, 0 computer experience.

I've been hired to two jobs. The first required no formal application, and I've been returning there for 5-6 years now. The second had an application, but that was a formality, and really, I was hired because of who I knew.

I usually had long interview questions written down, with diagrams, and let them read them and answer them. Many told me I was brutal.

If it is someone I consider a potential candidate I will become pushy and see how they handle that.

situation based question. I really don't care about the actual answers, rather I want to understand the person's thought process.
