My therapist is a metal bar and almost four hundred pounds of rubber.

It's a love-hate thing. I throw them around, swear at them sometimes, wear myself out, and feel better after.

Yeah exercise helps me too, though I've injured my foot and haven't been able to do my workouts for 3+ weeks :(. But for me it's only temporary relief. My issues are more life long, deeper, and some of it is brain chemistry. Which isn't to say I don't make things a lot worse for myself. I'm the fucking king of shooting myself in the face, making excuses etc, I admit it, but that too is a problem.

Hell, let's go further. The AFC East is becoming a shitshow. See above for the Pats, but the Jest are not a championship team with Sanchez. Fortunately, they are not lucky. The Bills are a fluke, and the Fins have no flukes.

The Ravens and Steelers could basically rape the entire AFC. The Bungles are a fluke, the Browns are a joke.

AFC South is crumpling. The Texans are only on the map because the Colts are crippled.

AFC West features the team that can't deal with pressure, quarterbacked by a dude with anger management problems.

I've been thinking that maybe I need to add a second plasma to my man cave. I'm sure my wife won't agree.

Replace your current one with a larger one instead? Prices on these things just keep going down. I got a 58" Samsung about 4 years ago on sale for, what was it now, about $2300 or something? Good price then but you can now get better for that price.

The NFC is taking the upper hand, and they'll probably hold it for quite a while.

I refuse to take the Giants seriously. Tom Coughlin is going to stroke out someday from watching Eli set a new record for picks, Eli, well, yeah, picks. Jacobs is too busy obsessing about a "fast ass car" to care about the field. The Eagles have the pieces, they just need to get everything to work together well, and it is reliant on Vick playing like he did last season.

NFC West... what, all the 49'ers needed was a good coach? What a turnaround. And Jim will be there for a long time.

The Falcons are rising, the Saints have an offense that looks like the Patriots of four years ago, but... better. The Pack is just schooling everybody they see right now, and even the freaking Lions are improving. The Packers and Saints could crush the Steelers and Ravens, and even the Lions and Falcons would probably make a good showing against the Ravens and Steelers.

ICF, I'm concerned about the future.

Aside from a few guys this year (Wayne, Clark, Collie, Mathis, Freeney), the Colts, including the staff, are just fucking up. Plug Manning back in, and things work again, but unless Luck is literally the second coming of Manning-Christ, you guys have a piss poor defense that works because of two aging badass pass rushers, an offense that is totally non-functional without an amazing quarterback, and no coaching abilities. Even with Luck, you might be facing a really dark time ahead.

On the other hand, the Patriots have Brady for a few more years, but our personnel decisions have basically turned to shit in the last several years. Every time we draft a great rookie defense player, when they want more money, we ship them off, and rely on dreams of finding them again through the draft. Instead, the defense is getting nowhere. We needed a rush, everyone knew it, and instead we got more slow and/or washed up linemen. We should mortgage the future for championships now, while Brady is still here, while the offensive line is still solid, while Wes Welker is carrying the entire fucking offense on his shoulders when Brady fucks up. And yeah, Brady keeps fucking up this year, he's forcing throws into guys, instead of looking around for the open man. Welker makes it work because he's got sticky fingers, Gronk makes it work because he's big enough to be a lineman.

The Colts have to get rid of Caldwell and probably Chris Polian to have any sort of future, Manning or no Manning. If Manning comes back, they need to hire a defensive coach and open the purse strings for defensive players. They also have to address some very grim free agency issues soon, among them Mathis, Wayne, and Saturday.

ICF, let's go out on a limb here.

Packers, perfect season?

Nah.

I felt it with the Patriots, by week five, it was going to happen.

And I was right. Sorta. Right up until the most important night. But that's besides the point.

The AFC is screwed and I think we might be seeing another long, long run of NFC dominance like we had in the 80s and 90s where they won 12 or 13 Super Bowls in a row.

These people don't know quality. I didn't want to hire them to begin with. My boss wanted to hire 10 people. We started off with 6. We only hired 14 people.

ugh

*shudder*

Not talking about the design or layout, which is meh IMO. But the subject matter. I'd rather have my balls slowly rushed in a vise grip than deal with that type of shit.

I haven't even read it. It's actually pretty cool

The Ravens defense is centerpointed on a few guys, and when the older ones retire, they'll be hurting badly. Their offense isn't all that good, and Flacco isn't really getting it. I think he's topped out on skills.

The Steelers are pretty much the AFC's only hope.

....

Go NFC!

Yeah sorry I can't stand anything that deals with "office based" self empowerment, leadership, success empowerment etc etc... I'm sure I actually need some of this kind of shit too but if so I'll have to find my own way of doing it.

Well, at the beginning of the season, I said the AFC would come down to Baltimore and Pittsburgh and the NFC would come down to Green Bay and the Eagles, with the Saints being the darkhorse. I'm pretty close.

Most of it is BS to give companies an excuse to keep HR people employed. :D

I saw Packers and Saints on the NFC, but I didn't see the Lions.

For AFC, I thought the Patriots would do it, after watching their immolation of a couple teams in preseason. Unfortunately, that's not happening.

Nah, I was 100% confident that the Pats wouldn't get it done this year. They might win a single playoff game but more than likely, they're going to be one and done.

The Lions are a year or two away still, IMO.
