Mowed the lawn, holy crap it was due lol. Some places it was like a foot or more long of weeds. Those long yellow flowers that kinda look like smaller versions of dandelions but they grow taller on a single stem.

Saw one house with Canada state flags and F*ck Carney flags, definitely patriotic! We hate our governor here, as is tradition in this state. :p

Seriously though didn't do too much, was working on a project in my garage, went out for a quick coffee with a friend but he spent the whole time on his phone as usual then when I got home I watched the fireworks from here. Pretty decent show this year. They tried a drone show last year but it was not really well received so they went back to fireworks. The drone show was neat though, but still not the same.

It's actually kinda surreal looking at this dashboard, back in the early 2000's when I was just getting into computers I would have never dreamed of having this much compute resources at home. This is not even anything crazy by today's standards but still more than I could have ever imagined having.

Man... one of my major boards just went dead. 23 years. This is two now. I'm down to AnandTech and Reddit. I don't want to be on Reddit for everything. It's gonna suck when they pull the plug on this board.

Baby spinach, roasted red poblano peppers, red onion, (my own) garlic white sauce, fresh shredded mozz, provolone and smoked Gouda. Double layer of spinach under the cheese and over the cheese. I put just a little Gouda on top. Post bake: spiral of truffle oil and fresh grated Romano! 4.5 minute normal bake + 3.5 minute high broil = 8 minutes total bake time. Any of you guys like this? It's getting more difficult to come up with new ideas. I also want it to taste good and not just be some dare bet!

I really shouldn't spend this kind of money but there's a solar panel listing and it's so tempting...

235w panels for $35 each. Delivery available for large orders, discounts if you buy over 50. So say I bought 60, that's over 14kw nameplate wattage (let's say at least 10kw to account for degradation) for $2,100 or less depending on what the discount they give. I am nowhere ready to build such a large array so think I'll pass though. Maybe I will see a deal like that again in the future once I'm at a point where I am ready to install that many.

The HR department at my website has informed me that I am being fired. I didn't even know I had an HR department. I guess that is why my website never makes any money; those bureaucrats in HR are feeding at the trough.

I'm sorry to hear that.
