My 2 Proxmox nodes just shipped.

Hopefully it doesn't get tied up anywhere.
I also really need to look at virtualizing my home automation server, it has this weird issue where it will randomly lose network. While poking around after rebooting it I found that the OS drive has 13 years of straight runtime. It's probably a ticking time bomb. I suppose I can do USB pass through for the hardware and should be able to get it working easily enough. I want to redo all of that sooner rather than later, so that the automation hardware just speaks ethernet.
Started experimenting with the process of converting VMs from VMware and it's fairly easy. It's really time to retire my ESXi 5.5 host so I will convert all my VMs, then convert the host into a PVE node too once that's done. It's been rock solid though, sitting at over 6 years of uptime right now.
I am eager to do this but at same time I might want to let the PVE setup simmer for a bit to make sure there's no weird gotchas that end up burning me. I can migrate the less critical VMs though.
