Is this corruption or intentional interference?

Yes that is obvious. ;)

What came first the popcorn or the hot butter? ;)

You're welcome! Nothing like being in discomfort!

Wow this file is dated 13 Sep 1993. o_O

Code:
At this time, "demo disks" are being made (IBM) for what such a presentation should look like, in case you were interested in a sneak preview! (system requires 80386/33 with co-processor and 8 megs of ram along with 50 megs of HD space free, and a super VGA, or XGA video card capable of 1280 x 1024 resolution with 24 bit color support--I am sorry for such a tall order, but this is an intensive program, ok?)

I've got about 3000+ games on my computer here with modify dates of 1996. But many of them are much older originally.

These old proggies won't even run on a modern system.

Even Win9x crashes with a "windows protection error" if you have 1GB+ RAM installed. You have to boot up with < 1GB, edit system.ini [VCACHE] parameter to restrict this setting to 511MB and it will work. I remember playing around with this a while ago (VPC on XP Pro) and it did work.

Did I forget to mention how much I hate computers?

This is why "God" invented Dos Box I'm amazed at what I can get running in DB. Stuff from the 70s runs first start! Games from the 80s and 90s install without a hitch with perfect sound blaster emulation and IRQ mappings etc...

Does it allow for speed (i.e. slo-mo)? Trying playing King's Quest on the equivalent of a 6000GHz 286 and it's impossible. ;)

Adjust for variable CPU speed very well. There are some exceptions and you have to fine tune it for some things but it's surprisingly good!
