I think a customer overheard my coworker and I talking about taking some obnoxious kid outside and killing him, or at least beating him.

God that kid was annoying, made a mess of so much stuff.

If she heard, she gave no indication.

Search 8thcivic for the term FX-R, it's been done.

FX-R will cost like $10-20 more, it'll take more time and effort to fit it, getting shrouds on it will probably be a major PITA, but the output of FX-R's is so much better than Morimoto.

IMO, a visit to the temple is the most boring thing ever.

Hindu temple I'm assuming? Never been to one, would like to. I'm a strong atheist, but my mother is Buddhist. I actually like the occasional visit to the Buddhist temple she goes to a couple of times a year. Peaceful. I still think it's all nonsense but it's nice there.

So yeah, alfa, doing a mini H1 retrofit is fairly easy, but I'd do an FX-R for that, despite it being more challenging, I believe it will be worth it.

Uh, sure they are. Why would they not be?

They are metal halide lamps using Xenon to assist with faster warmup times.

True Xenon lamps use a high pressure short arc capsule and while adapting them for automotive use is possible not practical. Not to mention they are not commonly found in lower wattages for legal highway lighting.

They're playing with adaptive full beams, but I don't know what the light source is. I think BMW and Mercedes are prototyping.

Yes MB is using sources from LumiLEDs.

That mfr also has sources for emergency vehicle lighting including a full white lightbar that runs across e-vehicles and public transport vehicles. The demo is quite impressive and the heat it throws feels similar to a halogen lamp with color temp in the high 3000s. Felt like it would tan you in short time.

Now if Benz didn't make overpriced overweight gargantuan beasts with no choice but conventional automatics...

MB is like JD when it comes to AG equipment (Nothing Runs Like A Deere).
Seriously take a trip to Germany and cruise the Autobahn in an AMG at 220km/hr all day. Who wants to be bothered with shifting gears? Slushie is so 1970. ;) Of course I'm not driving so it does not matter either way.

Cars in the future won't even use pedals and a wheel. :D
