There's this email chain going around about some kind of server stuff and I have no clue what any of it means or what is going on. This must be how I sound like to the average person when I talk about basic server or computer stuff lol.

My work is going to be closed tomorrow due to an "ice event". There's already rain and it's well below freezing today. But it will be nice to be off and get paid. It's 24F and feels like 11F. Still rocking shorts and a t-shirt.

Lol workplaces never close for weather here. Even 2 feet of snow overnight they expect you to dig out and be there on time. Would be nice though. I hate having to deal with that in the morning. Been working from home for past few days so it saved me lot of trouble. Probably going to tackle the driveway and digging out of truck after my shift is done. The snow stopped for now.

To be fair, there is no snow. We had freezing rain in the morning. Temps were well below freezing. Was 85F on Monday. This won't be as bad as the storm a few weeks back. But it's supposed to rain about 1am onward and by morning it will paralyze this large metro area that has a ton of freeways. There's already more accidents than tow trucks. I'm glad I'm off tomorrow. I've totaled my car when I hit black ice in the past. All those overpasses will be treacherous tomorrow morning.
