Do some people actually change literally just the tire for seasonal changing? I've always had my tires on rims and just change the whole thing, way less trouble.

Yes, I do, every spring and every autumn. But not the rims, which maybe I should do.
Thats how I know the difference.

I think I'm pretty much ready to sand tomorrow once this touch up coat dries. It's not the perfect coat but the rest should sand out. Ideally I try to minimize how much sanding I need to do though.

Not really aiming for 100% perfection anyway, it's a crawlspace. But it gets me practice for when comes the time to do the main basement part.

They serve em for a few hours at various times of the day. During the more serious quarantine this year they stopped serving them at breakfast time.

I finished about an hour ago. Started at 7am and finished before 5:30pm. Blech. I didn't take a pic of the finished job, but the new ones are black. I cleaned up the hardware and had to replace the passenger front strut bearings. When I took it apart the bearings fell apart in my hands. Thankfully, I had a friend to help me.

Spent today cleaning my place. I was so tired from yesterday's auto repair. Slept for 11+ hours. Got up and made blueberry pancakes and some bacon. Real maple syrup. Nice. Also did an oil change. Back to the grind tomorrow. Enjoying a Hofbräu.
