So, rather than go with Uverse, I think our plan may be to call Brighthouse and see if we can switch to the TV/Internet bundle and get the bundle pricing for a year. We'll then implement Ooma for the telephone.

I don't think so. You end up putting six fixtures into power strip linked to the dimmer, and when you play with the dimmer control, the power strip will likely go nuts.
