Well that was fun, just did lead acid battery maintenance, did two batteries, going to do the other two tomorrow. Cells all checked out ok, added a bit of water, good to go.

Downside with the enclosure I built I need to physically remove them though. Those suckers are heavy.

Actually I suppose I could have done some kind of drawer system, but I would need pretty seriously heavy duty rails for that. Probably talking over 100 lbs per shelf. I also want to get some custom enclosures made so I can put 4 per shelf. Right now I'm limited by whatever I can find at the store so I can only put 2 per shelf.

Though, I was also thinking, I might just place some uncoated MDF down, if acid leaks it will just get absorbed by it. These batteries are made to get tossed around in boats and RVs and stuff, so odds of a spontaneous leak is quite slim.
