I can't believe no one thought it was a bad idea to have like 10 VM's on a single LUN and attempt to run backups on all VM's simultaneously with multistreaming enabled (resulting in like 30 backup jobs trying to read off the disk simultaneously).

that wasn't killing disk performance at all. D:

Well today was productive. I'm practically ready to start laying dricore. I still have to vacuum saw dust and stuff but I finished picking up all the tools and stuff in the way, and all the debris like nails and .22 casings.

I start night shifts tomorrow so I'll probably just vacuum and maybe start a small section. This past few days off I've been quite productive as I really need to rev up this project and be done. It's been since spring. 😱

Dricore is quite popular actually, it's 2'x2' waferboard tiles with a plastic backing. It's used as a subfloor in a basement. If you get a bit of water it will just go under. It also acts as a thermal barrier so the floor feels much warmer.

I used it because my floor is unworkable, it's very rough concrete that is very dirty. You can't put anything on there as it would be uneven and anything glued/cemented in like tile would pull up.

I'll probably end up using the dricore as my floor, might varnish it. In the far future I can always put down a real floor.

Today I shall spend most the day fixing my brother in laws moms pc

This is the 4th time in a year she has destroyed windows.

She is a devout Christian and has used pcs at work for 20+ years as a NHS manager yet still manages to click on links and download whatever the funk is doing this. I have checked her internet history before and all that shows up is religious pages. Do hackers target these people?
