Maybe that's not healthy?

I have no idea. I am terrible at maintaining relations or having a social network. If there is a thing that I cannot understand.. it is human psychology. But your job needs you to always smile and hide your emotions.. maybe you got used to that.

I'm not a people person either. I am friendly at work because I have to be, but once it is time to go home, I don't talk to anyone from here. I don't hang out with anyone from work on the weekends or evenings either. There are a couple of guys who are "work friends" and I go to lunch with them, but that's about it

Now, with that being said, if I were younger (late 20s/early 30s) and worked here, it could potentially be paradise given the fact that our staff is mostly female and a significant portion of them are young, hot, and single. As I tell my friend from time to time, if I were single, 10 to 15 years younger, 50 lbs lighter, and good looking, I'd be in heaven here. :D

I will say that not being a people person has probably hurt my career more than anything else. I do see that very clearly.
