Let's build a website just for computer hardware enthusiasts! Then we can do all sorts of reviews, product tests, information, even forums! We could sell advertisements. We could even have forums for all sorts of topics, not just hardware!

No, forget it. It'll never work.

we could have a website where people can post topics about anything and get snide replies within 2 minutes (or their post is free!)

If you have an idea, I'll be interested to know what it is. My field of expertise is everything between database and UI.

I think there is a 95% chance nothing will come out of this. People might have fun participating in this special even, but this will probably be something the participants have to do during their spare time. Without solid idea, financial support, centralized management, and full time dedication, it will be hard.

If the idea involves personal lubricants, I am offering my services as an expert tester in this field. Will I have to supply my own PRON?

Me too, Count me in for "Programming/Development". I am fluent in C++, C#, ASP.NET, Java (less knowledgable than the previous three), PHP (also less than the previous). I consider myself to be a .NET Programmer also. I am talented with SQL. Also, I am talented in both Windows and Linux.

I'd be interested in participating in this project. I'm 19 and am currently running a rather successfull business. I have a pretty good idea of what it takes to make a company succeed, as well as valuable experience that can only be attained through running your own business. To top that off, i don't have a shortage of ideas either. Count me in as long as you're going to do this the proper way - with actual signed/fexed NDAs and everything.

Could we put the ads down the left side of the page?

Seriously, aren't we a little top heavy with web developers, programmers, managers and network administrators?
Is there anyone willing to actually build widgets, answer phones and do other mundane tasks?

PS - This actually does sound quite interesting. I have 30+ years experience repairing office machines, so if your laser printer or photocopier breaks, I could probably fix it.

I'm in...I also have an idea that would work perfect for ATOT.

Expertise in computer engineering/programming, specifically embedded systems and hardware programming. My idea has to do with web marketing though..which I'm also pretty familiar with.
