Besides one cup of coffee in the morning, I've been strictly adhereing to the induction program and after 6 days my @ss is starting to look like a baboons. I thought eating meats and cheeses would clog me up tighter than a champagne bottle cork, but nosiree, it's having the exact opposite effect. On the first day I had a G&L fart and ever since then I don't even think about farting unless I'm firmly planted on a toilet. Did anyone else on the program have the same reaction? When does it end?

We are Mods,not pooper scoopers.
we don't want this kinda crap here.

Uh...you're doing it wrong then.

WTH are you eating???

Dump the beef and cheeses and go for fish, vegetables, and chicken.

I have nothing constructive to add to this thread. I'm too busy laughing and making my employees wonder about my sanity. :)

pun intended?

Anyway your body cannot process that much protein/fat/dairy at once. It happens to me if I eat a huge steak. I'm not sure if the atkins diet allows it but get some fiber in your diet, switch to chicken (as mentioed), or eat a banana, that always stops me up.

Ummm... Been doing Atkins for 15 weeks now, and I've never experienced Diarrhea. As a matter of fact, constipation is one of the complaints that many people have.

Are you sure you don't have some other issue going on?

Hell if I know.....I'm feeling great, seem to be losing weight but am hoping to spend a little less time in the restroom.

Ruffage? I'm thinking that would only magnify my condition. But then again, I thought cheese and meat would clog me. I'll give it a small sample and see what happens.

of course you are losing weight now, you probably have no fluids or food left in your system. Not to mention the dehydration :)

that's really strange, when most people are on induction, its not diarrhea they get, its constipation.

Wait a sec... I just noticed something...

If you were having problems on your first day, then I would put money down that the diet isn't your problem.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. Maybe I'm drinking too much water?

As a side note, one of the funny things about being on the diet is when you use the restroom while at work. Once you come out of the stall everyone looks over to see who was back there blasting away. The conversation usually goes:

Bystander#1: "Upset stomach, Jim?"
Me: "Nope.......Atkins."
