ATI not supporting OpenGL with CrossfireX

ATI has had a long history of poor support for OpenGL. So if this draws more attention to it, that is a good thing.

But the way you did it is not a good thing. The way you did it was simply baiting designed to illicit a response by obfuscating the issue.

I could have just as easily created a thread titled "ATI not supporting Windows XP" as CrossfireX does not work with XP. If I had an agenda I suppose.

You could also do the same for nVidia given neither tri or quad SLI works on the 9xxx series on XP.

No I asked only you to take it to PM because of your constant baiting and attacks over the issue. Stop twisting things.

Feel free Mr mod to post a sticky that lists "corporate friendly" topics. I'm not here to kiss corporate butt. My topic was fine and the issue is very relevant to this forum. I expanded on my title in my post.

It's funny that you accuse me of trolling and then try and turn it (once again) into an ATI vs NVIDIA thing. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH NVIDIA. This goes beyond baiting. You keep trying to make this a NVIDIA vs ATI thing.

It's ironic that people were worried about Keys ability to moderate and yet your abuse of the position is unfortunate to say the least. It's clear you don't like me posting bad news about ATI and that you would like me to gloss over the issue. :thumbsdown:

Wreckage, I?m done playing this game with you. Obviously repeatedly debunking your arguments is not enough so more action needs to be taken in the form of locking the thread.

In the future when you post threads don?t use such inflammatory titles designed to bait responses, and likewise try to ensure your content adequately describes the situation at hand with a reasonable degree.

?Now CrossfireX won't even run OpenGL games? is as misleading as your original thread title ?ATI not supporting OpenGL?.
