I like the topic, I enjoy the peevishness of atheists when they try to deny that there's a spits worth of difference between their belief system and other peoples religious belief system. That coupled with the fact that they're out in public and in every forum desperately telling anyone that will listen all about it.

You didn't answer his question - how many atheists have knocked on your door again?

Why knock on my door when you can preach over the internet and in published writings?

I am stunned how you cannot see how that is no different than approaching me on the street.

It's like saying that working out of home instead of going into an office isn't "working".

A preacher is a person who delivers sermons or gives homilies, generally on religious topics, although one can also preach any of the components of any worldview or philosophy. Some see a preacher as distinct from a theologian by focusing on the communication rather than the development of doctrine. Others see preaching and theology as being intertwined. Preaching is not limited to religious views, but it extends to moral and social world-views as well.

I've yet to be preached at by Atheists. Should prove interesting if it ever happens. It would appear that majority of Atheists are theologians, if you can even call them that, lol.

maybe you should read the wiki before linking to it...lol!

If atheists don't preach, then why do this:

http://ffrf.org/out

Declare and share your nonbelief! Although the nonreligious — including one in six U.S. citizens — are a significant segment of the world population, many Americans have never knowingly met a nonbeliever. You can help dispel myths, educate and promote reason by adding your voice, face and message to FFRF's friendly neighborhood freethinker campaign

LOL Atheist preachers, and being encouraged to "share" your non-belief!!

Like I said yesterday, just start being honest.

Oh no, Christians get taste of their own medicine. Delicious.

You concern yourself with a single word. Like I said yesterday, Christians don't like competition.

So they choose to whine about a different views being expressed, and not even in the same way that Christians express. Christian views are everywhere you look. Ads, churches everywhere, even in the laws we have.

OMG, they're "preaching" at us...WWJD, whine about it obviously.

So, first you tried to deny they do preach, but now it's ok because "Christians get a taste of their own medicine" once I gave you some evidence (which you likely already knew -- more dishonesty).

You concern yourself with a single word. Like I said yesterday, Christians don't like competition.

This has NOTHING to do with them liking competition -- this is about atheists lying about not preaching.

I've always and consistently stated that atheists should preach because they have every right to.

So they choose to whine about a different views being expressed, and not even in the same way that Christians express. Christian views are everywhere you look. Ads, churches everywhere, even in the laws we have.

You've been whining about how much of a "turn off" it is to be "witnessed" to....I'm simply showing you how much of a liar you are about atheists not preaching. They have a voice, they should voice it....I am all for supporting that right and will go on record as saying that.

OMG, they're "preaching" at us...WWJD, whine about it obviously.

How was I whining? I was pointing out the obvious lying going on in this thread by atheists.

One is your choice, the other is being imposed upon you. How you don't get that is mind boggling.

So you're finally admitting that you were full of crap?

I posted the same thing yesterday a page back. I just love the attitude of Christians like you guys. Call it what you will...it's still Christians whining.

I haven't changed my stance. Preaching, witnessing, whatever. What's good for the goose (btw, posted that yesterday as well).

Buckshot is a raging hypocrite. His rules only apply to him and he'll say literally anything to attempt to support his claim.

(unless it's evidence, then he doesn't bother)

You're so bent on the word "preaching" that you fail to see how sorry the argument is.

Oh yea, I'm a liar. It's in my DNA. Since God created me in his likeness, he must be a liar too.

Sad part is there's millions more just like him. Hypocrisy is a huge reason my path towards non-belief started at a young age.

How is knocking on your door (which you can choose NOT to answer) imposing anything?

Unless something is being made into law, it isn't being imposed.

You seem to miss that distinction. Knocking on your door, you have a choice, legislating something, you don't have a choice.

All religious communication is not imposed, though, again, you perpetuate the lie that it is.

Well he also thinks writing a book is preaching.

A book is tool... many religious organization use books as tools.

I mean, how ignorant are you? Why are books published by the new atheists best freaking sellers? Should I post the millions of books people buy?

Just admit -- you have a message, so does organizations like the FFRO. They promoted spreading it.

You're ignoring THAT evidence.

Hmm...I think what we need to do is starting knocking on doors to try and gain Atheist followers.

We can hand out blank pieces of paper :D
