Nice on the zoom mod. That was one of the more stupid things Blizz has done lately.

Anyone else having issues with the Master Loot change for raids? Its putting strain on my cross server raid alliance team. The other guild wants to go with master loot, means people have to pay for server transfers. All because people bitched about reserve loot raid groups.

Are garrisons going to be useful once Legion hits? I never maxed mine out (hell, just hit my first level 100 toon 2 days ago), so thinking it's not worth any thought with the expansion so close.

Same with Draenor flying... guessing it will become a novelty thing and not worth it at this point.

definitely would say no to draenor flying unless you're already close, which if you just hit 100 2 days ago you aren't! it's a pita to get just to fly there and for the mount.

the garrison...might be OK to farm mats like herbs and ore for leveling trade skills or obtaining more recipes, or for the plot quests if you like that stuff.

no real point in the garrison except to farm Draenor mats (which may or may not be useful depending on your professions)... Draenor flying is nice for alts since it's account-wide. no real harm in working on it while sitting in dungeon queues or mucking about.

For transmog, anyone have a good addon? I have a litteral crap ton of bank and void slots taken up by old armor and tabards and would like something that tells me what is safe to delete.

That's built in lupi, just don't get rid of items that display "you haven't collected this appearance" in light blue at the bottom of the item display. I think their new transmog engine kinda sucks. Why isn't there a way to easily filter items by set?!

And loki has a good point about alts w/flying. You've probably already looked up the requirements but it's really a matter of doing a ton of dailies in Tanaan + farming treasure items (outside of tanaan)

That is only if the class you are currently playing on can learn it. Say you are playing a paladin but find an epic boe leather helm. You wont see text at all even if your druid alt can learn it but hasnt yet.

Can anyone explain the Transmog system to me in a simple way? I found this guy that had a mount with a transmog vendor... didn't look all that impressive.

I know in Diablo III, all you have to do is pick up an item you've never picked up before. That item look is now available for you for the particular slot the item is used in (and it has to be same weapon type if a weapon, for example).

Same concept here? Or does the transmog system take a bit more effort?

Sorry for being so clueless... but I pre ordered Legion and want to actually play this game over the winter. It's been 5yrs since I've had some serious WoW time

You have to actually equip the item to claim the appearance - or maybe it just has to be soul bound. More or less the same thing there. That's it...equip it to claim the appearance and it'll show under your character appearance tab account wide.

Upgraded from 7770 to 1060 and ran nividia experience to optimize WoW settings based on my hardware but now I only get 30-45fps in garrison.

NVidia experience optimize is crap, disable it and you will get better results

same goes for whatever ATIs is

also garrison FPS is always low

its just that's its bound, if you run say an old raid and puck up something it will say "XXX item has been added to your collection"

if its a BOE you need to equip it

when I logged in this morning I could still zoom to 1000

the changed max after they "fix it" will be about what 40 was using MaxCam

On my nano I sit at just under 100 in windowed mode in garrison.

I'm on an i5 2500 which could be the reason but being a Sandy Bridge running at turbo, it should seriously be enough for WoW. What graphic settings are CPU bound rather than GPU bound? I can try lowering the former to see how I do. We're talking 1080p at 60hz here. Shouldn't be that hard for a 1060 and an i5. Runs SWTOR buttery smooth in comparison.

I also have a 2600k running a 290x, I'll check that later. Have both machines running 1200p at max.
