In the same way we have no idea what the gearing model for the final tier of the expansion could be, because it's going to be based on testing, and playing, and seeing how the expansion plays out up to that point. We're open and willing to change the game as we go to make it the best it can be.

I've read it can be soloed but I've never been able to. While those kind of mechanics are fun and interesting when they first come out and it's easy to get groups or raids to handle them, once nobody goes there anymore all it does is serve to prevent people from going back to do that old content.

For those looking at WoD soon, looks to be a Lupi was correct situation. Beside a 5.4 patch hitting the ptr, blizz saying they expect to do some WoD testing via having the 6.0 patch go live for about 6-8 weeks prior to WoD release. Given that there seems to be no indication of a closed beta, much less openn/ptr of WoD coming soon, looks like this will be a BC/wrath release time frame vice the early deposit of MoP.

it's actually fairly easy to solo, i have done it a few times myself. it just takes a little bit of jumping in and out of the different pieces.
however, if either of you ever want help, pm me and we could most definitely 2 man it. i'm always down for running old school raids and whatnot.

Not sure about some of your data in the middle.
Going with averages though;
Beta starts in Jun. Prerelease patch is in October. Release in November.
3 months beta to prepatch. 1 month patch to release.
As far as WoD, if you don't start hearing about a freinds&family beta before end of the month, then I'd start getting worried about a June beta for it, which starts to make release date for this year look shaky.

my main is a lvl 90 ally drood, but i have a level 90 horde hunter alt as well that i can play on. just not as awesome on it as i am on my main.

No, the heirloom weapons that drop from Garrosh won't be affected by this change.
Will we have to upgrade our cloaks or will they be 4/4 on patch day?
Yes, legendary cloaks will receive the ability to upgrade two more times, but they will not be auto-upgraded.
Whats the point? honestly? just put in a SoO zone buff...pretty sure most of us are bored to death of dungeons and scenarios. this is also why it's a good idea to have new dungeons (hint, hint) as well.
Different strokes, I'm sure, but I prefer earning my power, and playing to get stronger. Zonewide buffs/debuffs always feel kind of... like pity. I don't want to be pitied, I just want more paths to success.

The intent of the 5.4.8 VP upgrade change is to let people continue to progress, and we dont want those who are using one of the Garrosh BoA weapons as their primary weapon to feel like they need to go get a brand new weapon due to this change.

Finally got around to setting up a second spec and tried destro. Oh dear god it's so much easier and ridiculous how it hits higher numbers than afflicition.
Used transmog for the first time since the don't require items in your bag change, very nice not having to go through the void storage process.
