I'll probably come back to WoW since it was my first MMO I invested time and money in and it's still a great game but ESO is so good that I can't think about anything else lol...exactly what happened when WoW was released!

For everybody saying gold is easy to come by, I cant seem to get my fund up anymore. I peaked around 160k but have slowly melted down to 130K. I know if I played more I could farm and what not. Wont play the AH, been burned a few to many times.

I'm the exact opposite. I played ESO for the last week and decided it just isn't worth my time or money, and spent 3-4 hours on WoW yesterday and had a blast with it. I already cancelled my ESO subscription.

Game time runs out tomorrow sometime, think I'm going to let it lapse until WoD, or at least until 6.0. Had a few, shall I say, "experiences" in LFR this weekend. Counting last week, I've queued for LFR 5 different times. Two I got in on the last bosses after a 55+ minute queue, wiped 3-4 times on each before getting the kills. Another wing took a full three hours to clear due to wipes and people leaving after between bosses/attempts. The other two, the entire group dropped (literally) after waiting 30-35 minutes in the instance to fill what started as needing 2 tanks/2 healers.

Without LFR, I'm pretty much left with heroics (useless and incredibly repetitive), arenas (I do them on my rogue for the gear, but I don't like them), and random BGs (I quite enjoy them, but 10-12 min queues really hurt the flow).

Now, hopefully the Star Citizen DFM gets released sometime soon =)

Haven't even thought of looking at ESO yet. Maybe at some point when they have some type of free weekend or something.

Damn start of summer around the house things kept me busy this week, still stuck at 10/20 secrets.

If I'm reading correctly, everyone will have to complete proving grounds to do heroic dungeons in WoD.

Also looks like the harmonies will either be BoA or bindless pre-6.0.

Yeah I can understand and I still feel the urge to resub WoW and play it. It is still an awesome MMO but I needed something new and something a bit harder and ESO give me that for now.

But I can see myself going back to WoW and then quitting for ESO and vice versa in 2014.

Both are great...but I so damn miss Age of Conan lol.
That was one hell of an experience.

Had fun with a coin farmer last night. He got me after dropping don the cliffs and heading back to the hub. So from then on I just followed him and everytime he engaged someone else I also started fighting him. While buffed up it is pretty easy to do 1 on 1 farming, me making it 2-1 against him resulted in him using an item c/d to sprint away. Got to waste a good bit of his coin duration not getting any till he finally managed to hide long enough from me then I just left the isle.

I generally detest the coin farmers. They (in my experience) are never alone, and are almost always rogues. I hate rogues too.

Looks like they've made a minor change with the item revamp. For mist & draenor items all stats will be shown on the item regardless of your spec, however the stats that don't apply to your current spec will be greyed out and will not actually add to your char stats. So all plate will have str & int shown and all mail will have agi & int, but only one will appear as green text and add to your char while the other will be greyed out ad n/a. Some items will also have the tertiary primary stats (spirit/armor) which would be greyed out unless in an appropriate spec.


Seems this will function the same way they previously described, but instead of the item dynamically changing to show only the applicable stats it now displays them all using color coding to show applicability.

If you have a scribe and a little time to play the AH market i would dump them into glyphs/inks/darkmoon cards. Using the ink trader to swap them for ink of the sea and ethereal ink opens things up quite a bit.

Revision to the garrisons. Looks like there will be a single plot in the faction starting areas where everyone will put up shop. No more. Selecting from a variety of predesignated locals throughout the continent.
