Also, just so everyone knows, you dont have to have the "tag" on the specific quest mobs to get credit for the kill, you just have to deal some damage. This goes for just the "named" guys you have to kill, not when it says "kill 10 of X". I was spamming swipe like a madman.
 
Is there a website that explains this further? My main is a warrior tank and I'll probably level as Fury / Arms and I'd rather collect more tank gear along the way than DPS gear.

it's pretty basic... the quest reward should be tailored for whatever your spec is at the time you turn it in. so, run quests are fury/arms, and when you get back to base to turn them in, respec prot before hitting any of the "complete quest" dialogues.

for 99% of them... but for Horde at least, there's one quest in the beginning that requires killing 2 named mobs that only counts if you tag them. it was a nightmare last night -- dozens of people/groups sitting on the spawn point spamming AoE.
 
Ya i did the first few dungeon last night then started questing ended up going to bed, so just a bit over 86 now.
 
I logged in last night for kicks, and there was apparently a bug that made it so I couldn't see all of my guildies that were online.
 
Pretty basic, the second one on the last boss make sure you are jumping over the beams on the floor and not standing in stuff. We had 2 dps doing like 14k, me around 35kish and a good tank and a decent healer and mowed through them.

Ya i had the guildmate issue also last night.
 
Wow 13m experience, it's taking so long to level, not to mention I'm running as Balance to gear up my resto spec. ~4 hours in, no real issues of fighting for quest mobs and only ~60% of the way through. Am I just slow?

holy crap I just loaded up the game to play at lunch break and theres a queue of over 500 on illidan. estimated time keeps going up. this may not work out.
 
So is MoP really as much fun as you guys say it is? I have 2 copies ready for pickup at Best Buy but I'm not sure if I really want them. I just picked up Guild Wars 2 for me and my wife this past weekend so we've been playing it.

•Players will now receive AOE credit for sinking both the Bladefist Reaper and Stygian Scar while in proximity of the ships being destroyed during the quest "Unleash Hell".
•Players no longer remain in the Orgrimmar Gunship phase of "Into the Mists" once the quest is completed.
•In the quest "Strongarm Tactics", players should now receive credit for killing Gyro-mechanic Lavenderp or Master Engineer Cogswing if the other NPC is slain by a second player.
•Players should be able to turn in the quest "The Elder's Instruments" and then see and interact with Pearlkeeper Fujin.
•The quests "Regroup", "You're Either With Us Or...", and "Face to Face with Consequence" should be offered automatically to characters who enter Honeydew Glade after leaving Thunderhold without receiving them from General Nazgrim and Taren Zhu.
•In the "Wicked Wikkets" quest, paratroopers how drop the quest item Alliance Service Medallion 100% of the time.
•The cutscene that plays during the quest "The Jade Serpent" cannot be cancelled by the player. This is intended.


•Bug Fixes
•Players should not receive duplicate messages in chat channels.
•Crossing a zone boundary on a multi-passenger mount should no longer dismount passengers.
 
I updated my game and logged in. The new skill system is awful to me. I was thinking about what made me detest this game and it was the loot in DS, random trinket and ring drops from bosses that had only one off piece with one tier piece. No flying until 90 is another.

Then I think about how they are continually messing up Diablo, and I may be totally done with blizzard games personally.

Hah, because we all know that yet ANOTHER class needs a way to be really annoying in battlegrounds. Shamans and Druids were bad enough! 😱

I updated my game and logged in. The new skill system is awful to me.

I don't think it's that bad, but that depends on your class. I like what it did for Rogues. However, calling them talents... really doesn't feel right.
