they attempted so but it seems to have lost out once you got to higher gear levels. they are totally redoing it for pandaland and some aren't happy.

Even so, another healing class makes a huge difference. Especially since before Nerfed rag, it was normally 2 healed before 4.3. Even more so now with nerfs and such.

2 priests are fine, but normally its better if they are different specs. With a 3rd Healer being a different class.

Even with making all healers as equal as possible, it is still a bad idea to do all one of class for a role.

Like bringing 5 warlocks for dps in a 10man. Sure it could work, but youd lose on a decent chunk of raid buffs other classes bring, and having some melee would make heavy moving fights easier too.
 
About to introduce a new RAF mount, so hold your request of you want the new one or claim now if you want the rocket.

With them moving to raid testing and enabling UI in beta and putting the pre launch patch on the ptr, looks like they make indeed make my best case guess for release date.
 
When looking at the new RAF stuff and checking my account status, I noticed you could send out scrolls of resurrection again.

I thought they had stopped that promotion, I don't remember them restarting it.

I tested and was able to send a scroll to a guildmate who was inactive since late may.

- After the original march 4 deadline to be inactive.
- He was inactive less than 90 days which I thought was the old cutoff. Less than 60 too.

I actually claimed my third rocket about 2.5 months ago, literally days before rumors about a new RAF mount coming out started leaking. I obviously didn't really *need* this mount and would rather wait. This one looks really cool too. Am I correct in my understanding that you transform into the Obsidian Nightwing and can carry another player on its back?

Argh. It looks like I'm going to have to do another RAF to get this one. Maybe after MoP came out.

When the new SoR went back up in March, they got rid of the 90 days cut-off restriction. Everyone can get sent SoR, but they won't get the perks (free level 80+transfer) if the account was active after March 4th.

I held out to my unclaimed rocket since I had one already. Which works out now since mounts are account wide, that first rocket will enable it for all my accounts. (My zhevra too I guess.) I can use my still unclaimed on the Nightwing, again across all my accounts.

Yes, this is why I'm really pissed off at myself. I didn't even remember about the account wide mount, and I already had two rockets already (plus the zhevra before that). I was working on a new character and thought I'd just claim that rocket for giggles. Damn it!
 
finally almost done with Molten Front on my rogue.

I really dread doing the grind again, but I'd love to have the bag recipe on my tailor 🙁
 
I wish they'd impliment a paid profession swap. right now, I have --

rogue: enchanting/leatherworking
warlock: tailoring/skinning

I'd love to swap tailoring onto my rogue, but both characters have recipes that are either no longer in the game or have extremely low drop rates in raids, so I feel kinda stuck.

I'm also kicking myself for having to do the archaeology grind on my hunter when it would be sooooo much easier on my mage thanks to portals, but my hunter is my alchemist.
 
just found out about account wide mounts...pretty cool.

been getting back into the game a bit with some friends from years ago from my first server. im not sure yet if i want to try to get back into raiding, but there isnt a whole lot else to do. more achievement hunting i suppose, but most of the ones i have left to get are pvp and raiding. blech.

They instituted the 30% nerf debuff this week for Dragon Soul (normal and heroic), which should make it considerably easier if you want to start raiding again.

Frankly, I'm just glad to be done! I wouldn't mind a few shots at Madness on heroic again, but to do the final fight on heroic, you have to do all the previous fights on heroic. I do not want to do Spine on heroic again.
 
Also for looking far ahead; I see that lotro is putting out some material about mounted combat coming with the next expansion. Maybe this will cause wow to finally change there mind on that.

mounted combat might be a bit unbalanced for ranged classes. i mean seriously id just ride around in circles putting dots on everything loling into the sunset
