I'm just not enjoying the game at all anymore it just seems so meh. Think I'm going to sell off all my gold and call it a day. Anyone know of any reliable sites that buy gold? I'm sitting on about 500k atm.

im reliable, give it to me

Damn that is a lame nerf to survival hunters. Guess it could be worse but at current gear level, they needed about a flask worth of agi. At least they haven't touched the shots yet.

Was also hoping for Mage pve buffs.
Looks like this just the first round of changes so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Whoever that was that had problems with the Skullcrusher quest can now rejoice! 😉

If reinforcements are not called after 60 seconds, Skullcrusher the Mountain will now despawn. When reinforcements are called, Skullcrusher no longer improperly despawns.

how is changing the amount of fragments you can discover before solving a nerf to the profession? lol

this simply means you can't fly around for 8 hours collecting fragments before solving. all this really means is that you have to spend a little time solving more often than you did before.

There's purge spam and Mage CCs that weren't included in this PTR phase. And from the responses, players are fine with the removal of lust in arena. At least the top tier players are.

I'm waiting to see the offensive dispels changes. Ruins the game for some class.

No lust and nerfed purge will mean that shamans will take a huge hit in arenas. These are two key reasons why people bring them. RLS will have a rough time after this too.

ZzZ @ warrior changes. I don't really mind the damage nerfs honestly, but the change to juggernaut dumbs down any arms spec even more. Where are the mage nerfs btw?

Its a nerf to anyone who has NOT leveled archaeology. You cannot get the 85 epics until 450 skill. So if you're leveling arch, you save up all of your fragments until 450 before you solve. With as hard as it is anyways to get these items, it just makes it THAT much worse.

What's the nerf exactly? I didn't see it in the patch notes.

Unhappy with them: Being a Warrior Tank, I can live with giving away 20% Heroic Strike damage for a 15% (talented) increase in Devastate. That's OK, since I'm able to make up for the threat loss because we can use Dev more reliably than HS. The nerf to Cleave is the one that annoys, though I can see where people are upset at the numbers a ProtWar can put out on trash packs (if the healer can keep him alive, that is!).

Thankfully, I've had a lot of practice (since release) at Tab/Target tanking...

Oh - And for the record: I'm happy that Blizzard did a *much* better job of having the Tanks reasonably even in performance than they have in the past. The beginning of BC was pretty bad for Warrior tanks.

Resto Druid changes look good, should be interesting throwing rejuvs out while tank healing to get nourish haste buffs.

You can only carry 200 fragments of each race at a time.

EDIT: Nobody seems to know quite how it will work atm though. Will you get a message saying "You have too damn many fragments, use them!" or will you not get a digsite for that race?

Ahhh damn. I was saving my troll fragments for a Zin'Rokh, and I'm only ~200 skill.

I got from 450 to 525 in about 30 seconds doing just that.

I've been thinking of levelling my alchemist alt using Arch, has this change taken place already?

Edit: but I didn't get Zin'Rokh 🙁

I tried archeology last night for the first time. Holy shit that is an awful experience. May try one more time tonight but you know a prof sucks if you're tired of it at a skill of 6.

Ok since this is just on the PTR...aprox how long does it take to get to 400 arch? I might as well try doing it before the "nerf"

This was my experience the first time I tried it too. In my experience the first 100 points (especially 0 - 10 and 90 - 100) are the worst. You have to be in the right mindset and have nothing else you need to do in game. I often did it while I was trying to sort out tax stuff or cook dinner because of all the time spent flying from point to point. Just be sure not to solve anything until after 100 (because after that you don't get points for surveying, but you end up getting more fragments each time you survey). After 100 I got 75 points in solves for everything except Troll fragments. Once you start getting rares it's 15 points per solve and when you start finding keystones things seem to happen a lot faster.

It didn't actually take me that long after 100 points. I didn't keep track, but I did it casually for 3 or 4 days maybe. If I had to guess total time was 8 hours to 525.

Yeah that doesn't sound so bad. It actually sounds like it may be quite the opposite of most professions in that it accelerates as you gain skill.

Purge spam for enhance shamans need to be nerfed. Only resto/healing priests should be able to spam offensive dispels. And choosing so would hurt their mana pool. Different for an enhance shaman.

I can spam purges on priests and Druids, completely taking them out of the equation.

Archaeology still seems brutal, but that explanation was like a hammer with pillows around it.

Fully leveled here: It's Grind~ey, like Fishing. With more travel time.

I didn't think it was terrible, since it was easy enough to level, and you do have a reasonable chance of discovering something neat~ish. But if you're hell bent, then be prepared to spend a few days on it.
