Ok thanks, not sure what server i will go to but from what I remember as long as you had one toon that was lv 45 on a server that you could make a DK on any server.
 
ATM, DKs and hunters scale with gear very well. On single target fights, unholy DKs are on par with rogues but under hunters, depending on gear and player.
 
K thanks again will call Blizzard later tonight to try and remember my login and pass word, will try and find a good server and make Blood spec DK then maybe a Hunter, I remember Gear was the hard part for for My druid My guild never wanted to raid and when I tried to go on one I was dropped out instantly as it seemed there would inspect your gear. kinda hard to get good gear if you don't raid and hard to get good gear if you cant get into one.
 
Ah when I say server I meant I will keep looking for a decent guild I dont wan tto get into the same type of one i was in last time.
 
If you fail at heroics its cause someone isn't doing their job. I just hit the req item level and completed a heroic BRC.

1. First boss the healer went 00m fast from over healing but somehow we made it through.

2. Second fight he gave up and left (couldn't stop over healing some how...). Got a new healer and downed him first try.

3. third boss the tank couldn't pull him through the fire properly and kept killing us. New tank, down first try.

4. Last boss was my fault, i wasn't kiting the adds properly and I kept dieing causing us to wipe. I changed how I was kiting them and we downed him right after that.

Moral of the story is "Don't suck and you won't wipe." This was a group of people all around 330-333 item level. If we had our crap together from the beginning we wouldn't have wiped at all.
 
I've tanked two heroics so far, and DPS'ed one (in my tank gear). I'm not sure how anyone can do sub 5k dps. In my tank gear, average ilvl was something near 334 I believe, and I was doing 7.8k as a feral druid. None of my gear was gemmed/enchanted either, as I hadn't planned on being there.

Heroics are obviously a ton harder, but using CC makes it mostly trivial. Two of my runs ended up as deadmines. Ripsnarl is a pain in the ass, especially if you don't have "burst" dps for the shade things.
 
On a lighter note, I'm addicted to fishing. Northrend is a ghost town. Sit out on a stream in howling fjord and fish a bit...kinda relaxing.

also trying to get that damn turtle mount...

Heh I got addicted to fishing as well last year, right before my first big six month hiatus. I've never really fished at all before that so I pretty much started from scratch, and I went all the way to 450 and even ended up getting both Old Crafty and Old Ironjaw (as alliance).
 
Really wish I could dungeon grind every rep faction up. (Gnome on a purple elekk? Gnome on a purple elekk.)

About to run solo through some heroic BC to raise rep for cenarian but I'm not looking forward to dailies for the other 100000 factions i can't dungeon grind out... gets old.

Is there any way to differentiate between the new Cataclysm pvp titles and the original vanilla titles?

I have an old toon with Lt. General and I'd be pissed if that title lost its vintage status.
 
Question about Death Knights I wondered what spec is best for lving up I read that blood is best for tanking now and I will go with that if there are enough folks around lv 55 or so to group with but if it is sparse then I wanted a to lv up and then switch to a tanking spec.

blood is the only tanking tree...its solely for tanking. for leveling up, 2h unholy is your best option because you get a pet.


was there a patch yesterday? i had to download 1.5gb of the game today and was playing last night right arond 3am server time....does not compute

lol. PVP is srs bsns.

Lt General isn't much to crow about. "vintage status" means about as much as all those people with "of the shattered sun" or "Jenkins" titles.

Shoosh! I proudly wear my Lieutenant Commander title on my Priest 😛. It's nice since while everyone runs around with their Kingslayers and whatever, the old PVP titles are somewhat rare.

If only I didn't burn out and got higher 🙁.

I have a question, do you use a title on your wow character if you play?

And if so why do you use a title and more specifically why do you use the particular title that you display?

When I played wrath for 3 months I displayed my pvp title. I did so because although it has no functionality it's fun to roleplay that your character has some standing in the realm. Being World of Warcraft a military rank fit in perfectly with that lore.

Yes. it changes week to week. since i have about 20+ titles to choose from, i give them all equal time.

My current title? "Assistant Professor" because it's the one i just got.

It will probably change tomorrow.
