It was $20 at Amazon last week. I posted it in this thread, but I guess you didn't see it. 🙁 Just keep checking, I'm sure it'll get cheap somewhere sometime soon.
 
I've seen cases where RAF didn't go through because when the referred account supposed to upgrade their trial, they ended up creating a new account which doesn't have RAF benefits associated with it. However these are cases where the referred account actually got a RAF invite first and then made a mistake when upgrading it. But there's no harm to ask them first about it before you give up, they may give it to you.

Oh and just to make you jealous, I have two of the rockets and a zebra from before. Additionally, I could get another rocket just by paying $15 for the referred account. I don't know if I'm going to do that though. Maybe wait until they change it to the next cool mount 😀

I referred one friend and got the Zhevra mount. A few months later I referred another friend and got another Zhevra code, but refrained from using it since I didn't really have a solid alt that I felt comfortable giving it to, since I knew it was probably the last one I'd ever get. I wanted to wait until I had an alt that I actually thought I'd play consistently. Needless to say, I was pretty stoked when they announced the rocket and that current Zhevra rewards would transfer automatically to it, so I'm rocking both rewards on my main.

well my gf doesnt have her ground mount yet, and i would use the hell out of that rocket since the mammoth cant fly afterall

apparently people have successfully called billing and told them the exact same situation and have gotten all the perks. hoping this works,their phone lines are full though and i leave for vacation tomorrow

I had to chuckle at something today - I was bored and decided to look at server populations - 99% of the PVP servers are "LOW" while PVE/RP servers are MED/HIGH. 😀
 
Anything in today's fixes about the Volcanic Drake bug? I love riding around on the thing but I am tired of people asking my why my character is riding below the drakes claws.
 
Anyone else getting random WoW critical errors lately? Never had them until (not yesterdays) but the critical updates before that.
 
Splurged on the alchemy drake mount and spent 44500g on it. I figured that's close enough to the cost of the mats anyway, and I don't have to spend the time gathering them up.
 
so what's it like? I got my archaeology up to 185...and now I'm bored again. I'm trying to figure out if it's even worth it with Druid instant cast.
 
So I tanked two heroics this morning... Lost City and Throne of the Tides. Lost City wasn't too bad since you can skip a bunch of trash. Throne of the Tides... I really don't like some of the trash in that heroic :\. Our DPS wasn't really very high, so we ended up having quite a bit of trouble on bosses simply because our healer, a fairly seasoned raid healer, was having mana problems. I think the DPS ranged from 4k to 7k on the Facesucker boss.

In contrast, when I did Lost City on my Shaman (as DPS), all DPS were around 10k, which is how it should be 😛.

I ended up getting an orb on my Pally and crafting the shield. What I'd like to shoot for now is a new trinket and a new tanking weapon. I just wish there was a decent tanking enchant that didn't take Maelstrom Crystals :\.

tbh, ive tanked a few heroics with a guild and a few with a pug....i honestly dont see whats so hard about to new heroics....sure things die slower but they did in wotlk. and as long as you know how to gtfo of aoe spells and burn down the skull > x > w/e else first you are fine.

Because some of the DPS is so low that healers run out of mana before stuff actually dies. It's the thing I tried to tell a friend of mine once about carrying people in VoA. There's always a balancing act between competency required... if the tank and healer outgear the fight and the DPS does not, chances are it will be fine because they can make up for the longer duration (given they don't hit an soft/hard enrage). The problem is... no one really outgears instances right now, so there is no wiggle room... you simply cannot suck.

I did H-SFK today and in a PUG, it was just fucking awful. We couldn't even beat the first boss because the healer would just go OOM by the time we hit the AoE phase, which was most likely the healers fault for healing too much after Asphyxiation. We did have a sort of buggy thing happen... Ashbury used Asphyxiation and immediately went into Super AoE mode and just killed us all instantly 😱.

I ended up going with a much stronger group and we cleared all of SFK... because there were no slackers! 😛

Yeah, I seem to be getting them too... :/

Tried joining a Light of Dawn pug today. Shadow traps. 'Nuff said. I was also pulling around 21k with 335 ilvl (with the buff, of course). No wonder Blizz wants to nerf DKs.
 
Ran Baradin's Hold for the first time last night with the guild. I only recently (couple days ago) hit 329 to even queue for heroics (which I haven't even done one yet), so to say I didn't have much business in there is an understatement. We got him down on the second try because a PUG mage was only doing 5k dps somehow.

I was really surprised at how easy it was. The T11 holy priest PvE legs even dropped, which came to me. So with Cata, I ran my first raid before my first 5-man heroic, and I picked up my first T11 piece without having obtained the first valor point. 🙂

I just started the trial to see how the games is after I quit some time after the expansion for the Death Knights. I am thinking of buying the game again being I threw the disk away last time I quit.
Two question's though as of now what is the best dps class and what is the best tank class. I no it depends on gear and who is playing the toon to a certain point. But I see a lot of post saying that a warrior is not what they use to be I could start a DK if they have become real good for tanking and for the dps I should of stated range dps.

Many thanks It has been a long time away from the game and like always they are a lot of changes so this is why I am asking.
 
hard to say right now as major adjustments to the classes are still inbound.. and a ton of balances still being adjusted.
