No because it's not 5% of your total hp but 5% of your base hp. So as a paladin that would be

.05 * 6934 = 346.7

extra hp

Just the disc w/key, a sparse ~10-page manual with some story in it, 2 WoW free trial cards and 2 Starcraft 2 free trial cards. That's it, nothing worth getting the box over IMO unless you just want the disc. I only bought the box because I had a 10% coupon to Best Buy.

I just got done with 133 quests in Hyjal and got to 11% into level 82. Haven't even seen another zone yet. This was with about 36-40 hours of rested XP.

Im starting Uldum instead of twilight highlands.

On my second toon, Im going to do Hyjal, Deepholm, and Twilight.

I'll probably do... MH -> DH -> Uldum -> TH... every other time. The only problem is that you need to go to Vashj'ir at least once to get the ability to go to the dungeon. I guess I could send my characters there, get the Sea Horse and just travel to the Throne of the Tides.

Speaking TotT, you should've seen me when I went there on my Shaman+Mage... I was so confused on how to get out 😛. I went down into the water wondering if something there would get me out, and I instantly died somehow. I ended up asking a friend and they pointed out that sneaky Draenei (that I never noticed) that ports you 😛.

I'll probably just buy 310% speed from all the money you make while leveling. My mage has made around 3000g so far just from selling worthless quest rewards, and my Shaman already has 310% speed. But I might also consider the fact that I can get it for free from the Holiday meta achievement. But I know a few of my characters need things like Halloween still, so I don't know if I want to wait that long.

The $5 + $5 + $10 sale (for Vanilla + TBC + WotLK) ended already 🙁. Maybe they'll bring it back closer to Christmas, but that's just my thoughts so don't take it for a fact.

vanilla CE's are significantly more rare and unique than the expansion pack CE's, though.

lulz at playing wrath with cata gear. pally still in dala to do jc dailes as there are about a dozen of the less popular recipes i never got, so tossed him a level 80 green 2 hander....even though i have not even spent talent points on him he goes against wrath mobs like they're training dummies with that sucker.

i thought so too but i just made sure the "track objectives" in the lower right is checked. I dont know if you're using a map addon. But that was my problem for half a day. I wondered why it was working on some toons but not others.

You could, but you also need to consider that you cannot access the Earthen Ring quartermaster until you do about half of Vashj'ir. I forget which little camp it's in, but it's in the second area after the big snail thing.

Yeah, visited him twice today. Had to pick up the shoulders for my Shaman and the helm for my Mage. Unfortunately, while the portal to Mount Hyjal puts you right where the Guardians of Hyjal quartermaster is, the portal to Vashj'ir... I assume it puts you at the last town that you unlocked, which is a good 2 minute travel time from Silver Tide Hollow (and I kinda forgot where it was for awhile... it is a rather small hole).

The portal does put you to the last town you unlocked.

Easiest way is to take the flight master from (undercity or Stormwind) to the Sandy Beach flightpath... then from there to Silver Tide Hollow.

yes, i did something similar i did the first 5 quests in the zone to get the underwater breathing dealie and then flew over there and swam down

Finally got the expansion and spent some time playing. I started with the DK just wanting to look around Hyjal, but got sucked in the quests and after a few hours she leveled 😵

So I rested her, switched to the paladin and started with Hyjal again. After completing every quests in Hyjal that I can find, the paladin is about two bars over 82 now. I have not even seen any of the other new zones yet!

I'm really liking the questing this time. Leveling has always been my most hated thing to do in WoW. They did make it a much better experience in LK, but now it's just amazing.

and btw, uldum easily the most awesom zone of the release. the cool egyptian style along with a crap ton of slick pop references...oh and nuking a shitload of gnomes helps to.
