Last I checked, MMOC didn't put the loot up on the main page, but the invasion bosses drop ilevel 251 loot of various types.

EDIT:

It looks like the stuff I mentioned is actually phase 3 and this is only phase 1.

Moonzi on Mannoroth, no idea about gear score 11/12 HM.

I run ultra on my rig below (changing the shadow quality down one notch.) I basically keep 60 FPS (VSync on due to my monitors refresh rate being 60) everywhere except Marrowgar. Might drop to 50 quick when logging in.

I run minimal add ons as well using TukUI and 6 very light addons:

When I got the first one a while back, I went to my account (not through any of the links here, but through the actual Blizzaard website) and changed my password, but these keep coming and now I am wondering if it is just a phishing thing or something. :hmm:

I know, if I have to ask...but I just figured I'd check if you guys knew anything about this or if I should just ignore them.

its phishing mostly, especially if you can get to your account and nothing was changed..
my cousin recently got hacked when he wasn't even active which was strange... he got one of those mails but they hacked his email and deleted it before he could read it (so in that case it was real)


note: gave up on insane, need to spend more time on school so shendralar wont be happening pre-cat

if its still possible after then i will do it

Hmm, odd. Yeah, I am very much not active; can't even rememebr the last time I played this game, though I did have to login to play the SC2 demo I believe. Either way, the CC on that account is expired, so not sure what other useful information they could get from me aside from taking over my crappy characters. 😀

i'm on skullcrusher, it's pretty high pop on horde (although alliance either faction transffered or left); and amazingly stable with the final upgrades.
 
Some minor details released about what each incremental 4.03 patch will do, but no word yet on release dates of them.

finished the elemental invasion FOS yesterday, TBH was pretty lame, unless there is more coming, the orig Naxx and Wrath events were much better.

6 manned BWL last night as well with some long time friends who came back, fun times. was actually much more fun doing that and BSing about the old days then doing pretty much anything else in the game ATM

well cept WG, cause we keep winning on Def and have held it for like 3 days now
 
I'll probably take a couple days off at release. Haven't done so before, but only other vacation days I had scheduled for this year had that trip delayed till next year so not much time left in this year as it is to use any days.

But there is more coming. According to the link lupi posted we are currently in phase 1 of 4.
 
Prelude

Starting with 13th of October 2010 random earthquakes are reported in the major cities and zones of Azeroth. In response, the faction leaders of the Alliance and Horde have gathered in Stormwind and Orgrimmar respectively to deal with this turn of events.

On 16th of October 2010 the earthquakes have longer durations. Whenever there are earthquakes near the Orgrimmar or Stormwind Auction houses, or the bank in Ironforge, dust comes down from the ceilings.

On 27th of October the earthquakes become more frequent.

Phase 1

This phase released on the 1st of November, 2010. Portals have begun to spawn randomly in all questing zones, spawning elementals; the spawn timers are erratic, and not tied to the beginning of the hour. The first phase of the quest chains are now active.

To obtain the Feat of Strength [Tripping the Rifts], players must obtain a buff from each type of elemental portal that spawns in Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Outland and Northrend (Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind). Players do not have to kill rifts of their level to qualify for the achievement. The daily quest Hammering It Out, obtained from the mysterious devices left after the portals have faded, does require the death of level-appropriate elementals, however.

Phase 2

This phase has not yet been turned on for the live realms.

Phase two will open up a few more quests in Thunder Bluff / Ironforge.

Phase 3

Invasion preparation

Before every invasion event starts, a herald will yell, warning players and citizens about incoming danger. At this time, players are instructed to grab barricades/sandbags from stockpiles around their major city and place them in zones directed by a red arrow. Low-level players unable to participate in this event are instructed to evacuate to the nearest portal activated by several guards. When all barricades are placed or 5 minutes have elapsed, the battle against the invasion begins.

Combating the invasion

Viewing a city's map during an invasion will display all the districts and which are still under attack by elementals or need citizens freed. All of the districts of the invaded city will be attacked by elementals spawning from opened rifts. Every elemental has about 320,000 HP and every rift will spawn elementals until 32 are destroyed. Several citizens are trapped in these districts and must be freed by an [Earthen Ring Unbinding Totem] provided by Earthen Ring Defenders. Players must clear the city of every rift and rescue every citizen within an hour in order to win the event.

After players defeat 32 elementals surrounding a rift, the rift will close and a buff will be applied to all players nearby:

Tips
Unlike other phased events such as Battle for the Undercity, Operation: Gnomeregan, or Zalazane's Fall, you are not buffed into invulnerability against these powerful mobs. If you are assaulting a rift by yourself or with a few players without a healer present, only attack one elemental at a time.
Bring an unbinding totem provided by the Earthen Ring Defenders with you. If your allies get trapped by an elemental, they must be freed or healed immediately or they might die within the time of the prison's stun.
The elementals' prisons are cast in a frontal AoE cone. It has a very short range, so it is possible to avoid it by simply running away during the cast.

After the invasion
If an hour has elapsed since the start of the event, Earthen Ring Defenders will intervene and suddenly halt the invasion, removing all elementals from the city. However, players will not benefit and will have to wait until the next event occurs.

If players successfully secure a major city, two portals are available to enter for the next 30 minutes to fight one of the four lieutenants Cho'gall commands:

Grand Ambassador Flamelash
Crown Princess Theradras
Kai'ju Gahz'rilla
Prince Sarsarun

Phase 4

Zarhym has stated "There are four stages of the event. We're on the first." Details of the fourth phase are as yet unknown.
 
Did the event with the Druid I’ve been leveling, the Druid was level 71 and the XP from doing the quests pushed her over to 72 so the XP is excellent for non 80’s.

I didn’t start out to do them with her but I was in Howling Fjord and a portal had spawned. I was the ONLY one there but the NPC’s were attacking the elementals as well so I helped close the portal and got the “hammering it out” quest.

Any idea if you need all the elemental buffs simultaneously in order to get the FOS?
 
I was in dragonblight last night on my rogue and saw that strange object and ended up getting the quest. No qualms about some free EXP from me! Although, I'm almost 77 and still not done with DB! I did get to wtfpwn some silly ally Druid last night. He tried to gank me at less than full HP but a CloS + Vanish got me away from that. I saw another Horde go into the Maw of Naltharion, so I followed since I assumed the Druid would attack him too. Surely enough, the Druid attacked, but I two-shot him 😉. Go go imba rogues!

Speaking of BWL, they're bringing back Ash'kandi as a weapon in Cata 😀.
