Seen on this evening's dog walk. I've passed by this whole lot of times but I never looked up at that spot.

I like living around here. You see these flags, not Confederate ones.

I do and did on that one. But that was on my phone, and I need to install Lightroom Mobile, I just used the built in google photos tools, and they aren't very robust. The other photo was from my main camera, so I did the tweaking on my pc, merged to Photomatix for the HDR and removing ghosts, then to Lightroom for the rest.

This is one time that a lens flare worked in my favor where it seems like a planet that was hiding behind the moon exposed itself and I couldn't repeat it after I chimped the shot and saw what happened. The moon was setting at the time. Some minor sharpening and vibrance adjustments were made in PS to enhance the image. The location is Ali'i Beach Park, Hale'iwa, O'ahu.

Crossed path with that rattlesnake while headed out to check out the SoCal Airshow. Found a nice spot in the hills to watch bits of the show without dealing with the huge crowds. I was a few miles from the airfield so I was too far to see the smaller acrobatic planes. Did manage to get the following photos with my Olympus OMD EM1.2 and 75-300mm.

Went out of town to pickup some solar panels and I always wanted to get a pic of one of this style tower so finally did. There are a few in the area and I always find it cool that those old microwave horns are still in use. Or at least, still installed.

yeah not sure what it's for, guessing it's voice services, like land line. It might even be a SR500, I have no idea how those things actually look I just see alarms for them. Guessing the set of two is for A side and B side, for redundancy.

Punk is alive in Tompkins square Park. This generation just has to keep passing the torch forward, like this fella was passing the joint.
