A few Biotar 58/2 samples, the focus ring is stuck, so I have to focus and compose with my feet. As such, these shots are pretty ordinary.

Recently went to Anguilla for a destination wedding, was able to capture a few fun shots. Nikon D5200 with 18-55 kit lens. I haven't gotten around to getting a bigger memory card, so I had to shoot in JPEG for most of the trip to not run out of space. Still very pleased with the results, as I didn't need much editing.

The embedded pic in this post will be in 1024 res, if you click the pic you should be linked to the full res original.

A pair of young moose were relaxing in a park near sleepy downtown Sandpoint, ID while waiting for their mother to return.

Welcome to the party Red Squirrel, great start!

Below images shot with an A350 I picked up for $35 (broken LCD, broken SSS). I plan to replace the LCD and do an IR conversion in January. It's forcing me to learn to guess proper shutter speeds and ISO based as I don't have a light meter and no histogram because of the broken screen.

Happy family:

Thanks gang, great shot as usual Berliner.

Screwed up as I did not think about geometry. The fireworks were being shot about a mile behind the state house. Basically, from my perspective, that image shows all of the fireworks that I could see from that spot. :( Did not think things through, argh.

Here's one after I repositioned (the state house is the building directly to my left in this shot):
