i will try to keep this in mind

im near the coast, so its about 5 hours for me, but i will be there a few days. hoping the leaves will turn a bit myself, going to head south on the parkway a little and probably go to chimney rock. should be fun anyway :)

We were going to go to Chimney Rock. According to the website, a waterfall there is not accessible. I don't know if that would be a deal breaker for you. Hope you get some good shots!

the fall being closed didnt bother me, the damn rain by the time i got up on top of chimney rock, however, pissed me off. i have a little fisheye for the lx7 i wanted to use but...meh.

otherwise, i got some decent pictures. the chimney rock/rain day was supposed to be my prime day for photos outside but the weather was garbage until that evening when we were back at the koa.

still...heres a few quick ones. didnt touch them all up quite enough but i wanted to share a couple :)

this one was at night, overcast, some full moon light and a 250 second exposure. if you zoom in it is...bad :) maybe i can play with it more and clean it up but i kinda doubt it.

nice shot! you can tell by the white fuselage, red engines, and dark blue vertical stabilizer that its Scandinavian Airlines, but i guess the flight # gives that away too :)

^--- Nice; subject isolation, nice texture it's sitting on and the shadow the flash casts make it feel lively.
