Which is overall fairly democrat. I'm actually smack IN Baltimore city at the moment. And I've had my fill of how a democrat city works. Why did everyone move out? Probably the extra taxes on EVERYTHING. Why is a house in Detroit $5? Probably because it owes $10k on its water bill and $90k on taxes for an $80k house. Why does my water cost twice as much as the county and the water main breaks twice as often? Its a mystery. Like... where does the money go? Why do the roads have 8x worse potholes and you cross the city-county line into the republican counties and its like you're actually part of a 1st world developed nation, amaze!

From a strictly carb standpoint, they are about the same, but soda has more acid than whatever fruit is in sweet tea, be it lemon, peach, etc, so the effect in your mouth is so sweet you want to gag.

Coke and Lipton are like 39 and 37 grams of carbs in a can respectively.

Yea what I know about San Fran isn't that great either. Just doing better than Chicago... for now 😛 Tech, Boeing and hipsters.

And housing investors and booming real estate. Won't last forever. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near San Fran unless it was one of those delicious wealth inequality boosting jobs.

Murder creates jobs, especially gun murder. It uses resources that need replenishing (bullets), it creates jobs (grave diggers, cops to investigate, jailers to keep the murderer). It stimulates the economy and eases the emotional burden on the tax payers; few people argue their tax dollars shouldn't be used to employ police to protect them, however, we always hear people crying about welfare queens.

Shootings are up YTD versus '13

While homicides are slightly down, shooting incidents have increased in Chicago during the first half of this year. Police reported 833 shooting incidents at the end of June 2013 compared with 880 shootings as of June 29. The 14 killed over the holiday weekend are among 82 shot in Chicago from late Thursday to early Monday morning.

There's a lot of "they just need more guns" jokes in this thread for a city that tries its best to ban them from lawful people so only the unlawful people have them. It's easier to prey on unarmed people.

Are those white people also pulling the triggers on those guns 15-25 years later? Are black people in Chicago incapable of individual thought? How smart would you say Republicans are for somehow getting the people of a city run by Democrats to kill each other? Sounds like Republicans must be really smart to be able to do that. Do Republicans have mind-control machines that they control the Democrats of Chicago with?

Or is it the white Democrats of Chicago are the ones putting guns into black babies' cribs? That sounds more plausible, especially when things like proximity are considered. So then the question is why do you think white Democrats in Chicago hate black people so much?

Don't be ridiculous, we have a great system in place to continue to turn the black parts of Chicago into a warzone. By keeping marijuana criminalized (a second time possession of a personal amount is a felony) we can ensure regular incarceration of a large section of the black male population. At the same time, every new drug (bath salts, K2, spice) targeted at their community has been criminalized at the highest level. This keeps the majority of the black male population from ever securing a good paying, respectable job. Meanwhile, for a mere pittance in tax dollars, we financially incentivize the women to have children without being married or having men in the home, which has successfully resulted in 3 generations of fatherless children. They grow up raised on rap music (produced by us, of course) that glorifies violence & drugs as the path to nice cars & success.

If you think that a few more democratic presidencies can derail our plan, that was hatched in the 1940s and constantly updated & improved ever since, you're delusional.

I've seen that piece before. I would venture that many (if not most) US cities under report their crime to some degree. I know the NYPD has been extensively accused of downgrading and ignoring crime in order to achieve their astonishingly low crime statistics.

Having visited the city regularly for about 20 years and lived here over a decade now I can tell you that it most definitely isn't how it used to be though.

The blacks are dumb enough to be incapable of manufacturing hundreds of thousands of guns that flood into the city year after year. Only the white majorities are capable of this industrial racial warfare. The only thing these ghettos produce is crushing poverty. Some place, some where there is a gun manufacturer is who has been profiting off this deliberate, genocidal blood trade for decades. It may be even a thing of habit by now, the reason long forgotten why this box of unmarked guns is trained into the city. But a buck is a buck to the white man.

As for the question of choice and why blacks pull trigger. Sure they do pull the trigger, but their lives are the Hunger Games. Is it really so outrageous to believe that hundreds of millions white majorities are capable of influencing such violence in minority communities?
