28 miles up every hill in the area on a gorgeous (for Jan 3rd) day in Colorado with a high of 56F and with deep dark storm clouds looming on the horizon.

Technically it was a bike ride, but I only rode along on a buddy's MTB while he went for a run.
Chain snapped some 4 miles out on the way back, luckily he already had a complete chainring/cassette/chain set ordered up, because the entire transmission was rubbish.
I'll still count the 12 miles or so :D

2014 training begins! Sorry I haven't been contributing much. I usually take October-December off each year.

7 miles on the trainer tonight. Sounds pretty weak right now, but I have a very specific indoor training plan I follow. 4 nights per week, so only about 30-40 miles per week to start off, but it ramps up to about 60-70 by mid-March, and then it'll be actual road miles.

11 miles on the trainer last night. Might be warm enough this weekend (high of 52F/11C) to venture outdoors... if all the snow has melted on the roads.

I did 10.37 miles on the trainer on Wed. 9.4 miles on the trainer last night, and then I rode 33.6 miles today outdoors. Today was beautiful for northern Colorado in Jan. 55F in the shade and felt much warmer in the sun and going up hills. I rode with short sleeves. Tomorrow our next storm comes in so I'll be back on the trainer again.
