Thanks RobsTV for sharing your thoughts. In fact, I was looking at the exact MB (K7N2GM-V) at New Egg yesterday & was wondering if I should not consider, what seems to be its big brother, K7N2GM2-LSR.

sorry to reply so late.
Where did you find the K7N2GM2-LSR?
Yes, it is better "IF" you plan on using onboard video.
That version supports Dual Channel, and onboard will be 128 bit when you use two memory sticks. Other board will only be 64 bit.
Testing onboard with 3dm2k1se
NF2 dual channel scores 4400
NF2 single stick (or 64bit models) scores 1400.
If you use addon video card, none of this matters.
The memory speed difference going to dual channel is only 2% to 5%.
Onboard video is where it really matters.

It should work with the stock PSU (which is shorter than normal ATX PSUs). The problem comes into play when you try to use a standard ATX and a longer optical drive. It still might work with 90-degree connectors and good cable placement on the PSU.
I'm using the K7N2GM2-LSR too. Biggest drawback is the lack of voltage and multiplier adjustments. I got around that by using the in-socket wire mod.

For those who was following this thread last week, http://www.xoxide.com/aspirecases.html has these in ALL colors (silver, red, green, blue & yellow) - only silver was available at that time.
It is not a sale price - $90 + SH. I am ordering the red!

Sure, I'll believe that that little dinky pop-out handle is strong enough to carry the weight of a potentially very expensive piece of equipment.
