Why isn't it spelled Texis?
Why are they obsessed with swamp coolers? I haven't seen a swamp there yet
Why not raise pandas on the ranch?
Texan BBQ's have a lot of beef, while southern states have a lot of pork. I have no question about this yet.

Texas can have some shitty weather. We really only have two seasons, summer and summer-lite. Summer-lite lite is during Dec-Feb and summer the rest of there. At least in Houston, it's pretty much always hot and humid, which I don't mind.

Texas comes from the Spanish word Tejas.

There are quite a few swamps in southeast Texas near Beaumont and the Louisiana border.

Pandas would probably not due well in Texan climate.

We have a lot of cows in Texas, and I don't think we have many pigs.

Yes. Houston hasn't been hit as bad as some of the southwest cities on the border.

I'm not sure. I'm actually from Kingwood too. I don't remember why I put Humble.

I was messing with you. I went to Humble High School many years ago. The "H" has always been silent since the town was named. It has nothing to do with proper or improper English. People pronounce their names differently than spelled all the time.

What can I do to speed up this process?

We produce a lot of oil and refine a lot of oil, but obivously it's not enough. Hurricane Rita helped destroy some refineries in the Beaumont area (lots of petrochemical industry in the area).

I imagine around 10 or so. I have maybe 4. My dad has 3 or 4. And the three girls have one each.

My responses have to be delivered by horse to the nearest Sprint building. It takes a while.

One of my cousins moved to Texas about ten years ago to work in SeaWorld, and one time she related to me how there was a light powdering of snow and the schools closed, the people panicked and bought out all the grocery stores, and there were accidents all over... Are people down there really that bad about/with so little snow?

He was the principal at Humble High School until a few months ago.

Also, as from wikipedia, so it must be true.
The proper pronunciation of the city is "umble" (the "H" being silent), as the city's founder (see below) pronounced his last name in that manner.

Why is Manchaca pronounced man-chak?

It is actually really easy. I've only missed one question on all the exams so far, but it was the easiest one. I don't know what happen.

I plan on studying 15 minutes and playing computer games all night.
