Oh, if only I was educated in that great Pakistani school system! How I regret having missed that great opportunity in those great internationally known institutions! I heard that if you get a problem wrong on a test, they stone you. Oh, what a great environment that I missed!

Oh so sad that the richest country in the world has worst educational system, where no attention is paid to history, social sciences and political science, what a pathetic environment I live in. To make it worst, i got iditots like moose around me who glorify their ignorances and cherish an educational system that doesn't educate the children, more say develop characters and give them blank chapters in the history or worst yet don't even consider teaching them at all.

Oh so said, that there books are written be McGraw Hill whose board of directors include wealthy industrialists, former CEO's of multinational corporations, who paint a pathetic picture of the history of this country and rest of the world.

I'd think being a rich country with a poor education system is better than being a poor country with a poor education system.

I'm still dumbfounded how someone can say the US has a poor education system when the top academic institutions in the world are in the US. The US absolutely dominates rankings lists. It's pretty pathetic.

I also think that the US is extremely well ranked for pre-college education, especially since there is such a large population here. It reflects poorly on first-world nations with small populations.

Don't let the U.S. high school graduation rate keep you from jumping to conclusions. :)

It's not the religion, it's the people. You can any stupid excuse in any religious book to subjugate people. You do know that there are people quoting the bible as we speak to show how the white race is the only race that should exist right? There have been people in India that used religion to subjugate lower castes for centuries. Some people will always find a way to keep entire groups of people uneducated or miseducated and use that to exert power over them. We are quite lucky that our forefathers did everything in their power to prevent that from happening here. Even still blacks were subjugated for decades here in the US at one point also. However, the basic concept of freedom of speech instilled by our forefathers helped us move away from that terrible past.

Palestinians like to strap bombs to themselves and go onto school buses and kill innocent children. :|

You think they like to? Sure their methods are immoral, but you can't say that their cause is completely unjust. The Palestinians have no military, so they wouldn't stand a chance trying to fight the Israelis straight up.

Apparently, they like to. They're doing it, aren't they? They're proud to do it. It takes a sick person to commit suicide bombing, I don't care what anyone thinks.

So everything you do is done because you like doing it? Some things need to be done, and they're not enjoyable. I'm not saying suicide bombings need to be done, but I do feel that the Palestinians should have statehood and that Israel should stop being so oppressive before they have the entire middle east after them.

??

so if ur bigger then me, i should beat up your kid behind your back?

Of course not. I said that their methods are immoral, but they do have a legit cause. They're oppressed based on racial/ethnic background and Israel won't budge. You can't expect the Palestinians to just lie back & take it.

They stole the land of the Jewish people, and they should go back from where they came from. All that land is holy land for the Jews, and the Palestines, for one reason or another, think they have some claim to it. They teach their children to be proud to become a suicide-bomber. I've read interviews with Palenstine children who say they hope to live to a certain age (I cant remember the exact age) so they can strap a bomb to themselves to kill some Jewish people.

LOL

I thought the British stole it.. and now the same God whispers differently in different ethnic peoples heads..

Rule
#1 Jewish People are the CHOSEN People and if they want to say their God told them they own this land then get off of it or get killed.
#2 Jewish Peoples NEVER do anything wrong to Palestinians.. Palestinians just love to kill and hurt people.. it is ALL their fault.. NEVER has Jewish people EVER done anything wrong to others in History of Mankind - example = see new Mel Gibson movie

hahahahhaha

lol

two different things, my a$$.

what US exists outside of this world.

hahahahahah....

have you ever been to a school in Pakistan, may be you have never left the country and you just assume that pakistani schools are 10X worst then those US.

hahahaha

just because you hang out with people, doesn't mean you learning a whole lot.

yes, pakistan has social and political problems.

but high school students from pakistan are far more educated than high school kids from the US.

may be you need to travel moose and see for yourself.

This same thing is true of pretty much any much country in Asia that uses the British system, not just Pakistan. However don't fool yourself into thinking all the schools are that good, it is usually the private Christian run schools that have decent pass rates on national exams (with a few exceptions). I would still say that those who pass with good marks from such a system are better educated than most people who went to public schools in the US, but wait until college. I think the US higher education system rips most countries' higher education systems apart. The sheer number of quality universities here is unparalleled.

I do agree that the general level of world geography and history sucks in the US, but those that focus on those topics at the college level here are as good as those who do so anywhere else.

How pathetic that the proud "muslims" of Pakistan enjoy one of the most corrupt nationstates on earth, despite the infusion of their almight religion. If Pakistan's existence were given a purpose other than the vilification of India and a pathetic attempt ot trying to run a nation based on religious commonality, perhaps they would actually achieve a stable economy, after ALL these years still unachieved, and actually export something besides brainwashed muslim fanatics.

Oh my...

haven't you heard about a country called USA. It has happens to be the most corrupt country in the world. where 1 % of the population owns the 95 % wealth of the nation, and what do you make out of a country like that, a democarcy, the richest country in the world with no universal health care system, a country that spends half a trillion dollar just on building a war machine, a country that calls it self champion of democracy, that basically installs dictatorships around the world and overthrows democracy, a country where elections are bought and sold openly. huh,....

you have the nerve to call pakistan a failed state, well ever heard how pakistan has been suffering from sanctions imposed by the US since the end of the Afghan-Russian war, although they have been eased or lifted in some case, but do you really think that the damage it caused to paksitan's economy in the last decade, could be repaired.

you really believe that pakistan will be considered a US ally after the bin laden fiasco is done.

and you point about pakisan exporting fanatics, you don't see this country is run by chirstain fanatics, you don't hear people like jerry falwel preaching the armageddon that would hasten the coming of christ openly in the media.

you didn't hear about thousands of muslims and arabs rounded by christain soldier ashcroft and these people are still missing and have been cut off from outside world.

you don't see how the US holds citizens from countries around the world without any evidence of terrorist activity in a prison cell called Guntanamo bay, and the cell is off limits to all international observers, including the UN.

the list could go on. a poor third world country like pakistan is no good example of corruption, when you got the world's most powerful country which is ripe with corruption and tyrrany.

I believe you have been living in the bubble all the your life.

Please post a wealth distribution chart backing those claims as they do not look right. Please find a single country in the world where wealth is more evenly distributed as in the US and is roughly similar in size. Please tell me of a place where a middle class family can afford two cars, routine air travel, a home etc. of a similar size to the US. Please also tell us what percentage of the US GDP is spent on the military and what percent of Pakistan's GDP is spent on their military.

BTW, are you sure those sanctions aren't due to some nuclear weapon testing?

And where do they came from? Their parents, grandfathers and so on, for countless generations lived on that land.
By the way, why don't you go back where you came from, and leave the entire north american continent to the natives?
